One of my new favorite places
Decided to try this restaurant since the opening and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Wally, gave excellent service and excellent recommendations. The food was very good, and the prices very reasonable. We sat in the courtyard, which has a contemporary design and is very relaxing. We will definitely be coming back, and will ask for Wally when we do!

168 nailed it!!
We had a group of 5, and wanted a relaxed experience with good food. WOW, we were blown away....the chef sent out a tasting appetizer that was extraordinary: roasted tofu on a skewer with ginger and garlic.
Our waiter was perfect, he knew the menu so well, we allowed him to select for us. The food is served family style and so we enjoyed: the tuna tartar, the beef platter with three sauces and lettuce for rolling up, salmon sashimi salad, and a fried rice so delicious it took our breath away.
The FOOD IS AWESOME, the service wonderful......we have nothing remotely bad to say about this place. (One in our party is in the restaurant business.)

We enjoyed the food and definitely would come back. the hanger steak was good and so was the steam bao. We also ordered the pork chop, spicy tuna roll and pad thai. We ordered drinks as well. It was not very expensive considering the amount of food we got and it was good. We sat outside by the fountain, it was nice.

Nice Relaxing Dinner at 168
Very nice looking restaurant so that part hasn't change since it was Villa Sorriso. Service was pretty good but, our waiter was waiting on tables both inside and outside so he would disappear for awhile. They were only two other tables occupied inside the whole time we were there. I welcomed the quiet ambiance after a long week at work.
I had the Strawberry basil soda while my with had the cucumber mint cooler. Both were very refreshing. The chinese chicken salad was ok, wish the dressing was a little sweeter. I enjoyed the Zanga burger while my wife had the black cod, both were very tasty. Ended it with the green tea tiramisu which was great. Kind of pricey for the amount of food you get though.

168 was amazing. The food, service, atmosphere and location were all amazing....definitely one of the best in Old Town.

Our birthday celebration for a 6 year old boy was great. He was happy with plain rice and everyone else, (all foodies) enjoyed a delicious meal with variety and beautifully presented. No one in our group had been there before, and all declared their intention to come again often. It was a great restaurant find.

The food and service was very
The food and service was very good. But we felt a bit lonely as there were no other diners there but us. We were there for lunch on a beautiful Thursday afternoon. I hope it was just a slow day for them.

A foodies delight...
A no foolin' 'round restaurant where its main appeal is the quality of the meat and the amount of banchan (Korean side-dishes) are on the table. The servers are highly efficient and go about their task very diligently without a lot of unnecessary aplomb. Worth spending an evening for debauchery eating.

168 is GREAT
Superb Asian fusion, whatever that means ... every dish carefully, exquisitely prepared from appetizers through dessert. Could have selected anything on the menu and it would have been excellent, which means we need to go back many times.
Only concern is owners' divorce, which will leave Karen, with no experience, trying to continue this masterpiece, and she won't be able to do it. Hopefully, her other half won't bail completely.

A Rich Experience
With both indoor and lovely outdoor dining, smart and fashionable decor, exquisite service and delicious selections from an Asian fusion menu, 168 is a rare treat.

Stopped here for "Taste of Pasadena" and was charmed by the atmosphere and interesting cocktails. Came back with a group and enjoyed the asian-fusion menu. Definitely choices for everyone - even those who don't like sushi. The absolute favorite of the table was the whole chicken for two. With a lemongrass sauce, and garlic stuffed cavity, this chicken was moist and delicious! Everyone was happy with their choices, and our server, Wallace, was so great! We had a great night and a superb meal.

Living in Pasadena, there's a plethora of restaurants to eat at. The food was good, the service was awesome! I had brought my dog with me when I went here and they were so attentive in making sure she had water in her very own doggie bowl. The only complaint I had was the heat lamps. Our table was next to where the heat lamps get their gas (I could see the lamp plugged into a pipe) and I could smell the gas emanating from either the lamp or the pipe.

168 exceeded our expectations
This was our first time at 168 and were happy we went. The presentation and taste of all of our items were perfect for us. We had the crab cakes to start which were light, grilled nicely, and very tasty, and the beet salad which was a standard golden & red but very good with a light oil dressing. The grilled thai basil salmon was done to perfection served over a large portion of a delicious (but not spicy) jalapeno-spinach fried rice, and the pad thai was very good. We enjoyed the cucumber mint cooler (non-alcoholic) which was refreshing, and not too sweet. We did not have sushi so can't comment. We sat outdoors in the patio; the whole complex was nicely lit, decorated, and enjoyable.

Excellent Food; Friendly Staff
My husband is a sushi snob, and loved the food at this place. I only eat cooked fish, but loved mine as well (the cod). The support staff was very friendly, enthusiastic, and engaging. Would highly recommend this place.
