First thing: Park at the Shoppes,
First thing: Park at the Shoppes, not at Mandalay Bay, or you'll be walking for miles. The space itself is well worth spending some time just looking around. Would have liked to see more victorian and less laboratory, but that's just personal taste.
Everything here is above-and-beyond artisanal. Everything was incredibly rich, incredibly well presented, incredibly delicious. Although meant for sharing, we each ended up ordering what we wanted, and although it wouldn't be enough for someone really hungry, the shared appetizer + small plate left us all stuffed.

New Restaurant-Great Future
There were no reviews available so we took a chance for our daughter's 21st birthday. The bar and restaurant area have a warm feeling. The food presentation was clean. Staff is attentive without being being overbearing. The Chef and his wife came out and spoke with each guest. I had duck prepared as part of a lettuce wrap, was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The wine list is not huge, but diverse enough for any taste, multiple options to pair with a dish and reasonably priced. I will most certainly return.

Perfect Start to a Night in Vegas
Had a great overall experience at RX. The food was eclectic and delicious, and the shared-plates concept worked perfectly with the kinds of dishes that came out of the kitchen. The drinks were strong, interesting, and well-mixed (the bartender even invented one for us that we kept saying would be good enough to put on the menu). The true highlight of the experience was the service -- extremely friendly and helpful waitress and wait-staff that made exploring the menu and cocktail list approachable, fun, and interesting.

fun spot, super inventive drinks
You come here for the cocktails! GREAT selection, awesome presentation - that's why I recommend sitting at the bar. You get to see all the action this way. Food was good - pricey for the portions though. Try the Lamb Osso Bucco - excellent. Great ambiance.

Right on for food. Missed the mark
Every bit of food we ate was great. Where they struggle is trying to get too far out there with the cocktails. The smoked whiskey tasted like an ashtray. And the "Mario took the wrong warp pipe" was just gross. Go eat there any day of the week but stick to the drinks you know you like.

Delicious food served in interesting ways & attentive wait staff. Overall, an excellent dining experience. Wish the Steampunk theme had been carried through the entire restaurant though.

RX Boiler Room Has the Prescription
RX Boiler Room is a great place for small plate gems that are quite creative. We had a jar of chicken liver, the turned around onion soup sandwich, and an order of chicken pot pie bites. Then two desserts, the panna cotta and Peach Melba and we were filled.Service was excellent! This is a gem of a place that Chef Moonen has opened!

Steampunk theme in Vegas
The wait staff is amazing! Too bad the food was mediocre. If the food was as good as the service I would be a regular... You can find a better burger for less than half the price at Smash Burger. The game hen was yummy, but this is a nice place... the chicken is served in an awkward wire bucket with no extra napkins. I spent far too much time worrying about getting grease on my dress to really enjoy the bird... The food was just not as good as the WOW the prices implied. The drinks were horribly expensive if tasty, my cocktail was less than 4 oz yet cost $14... The desserts were great but really it is the service that this place is good at. The savory needs some attention and love.

Will recommend to others!
Had a great experience at the Rx Boiler Room with family. Items on the menu ordered at our table started with the Meze Platter and a few standard cocktails, both serviced with obvious care in the preparation and presentation. Our entrees included the Squid-e-o's, Shrimp and Grits, the Shellfish Shepard's Pie, and the aged Burger. Everyone was pleased with the meal and each plate had a special twist worth remembering. Very good food! I am a local and will recommend this restaurant to others, it was worth the trek to and through the Mandalay! Service was excellent and the ambiance very very nice - I like the boiler steam punk look. Thank you Rick Moran for a nice new addition to the LV restaurant scene!

Great alternative to RM Seafood
Great alternative to RM Seafood downstairs, totally different scene and equally as delicious. A shade pricey but when you're in a celebrity chef restaurant on The Strip that should just be expected.

Rx boiler yum
Awesome food, fun atmosphere, cool cocktails that add to the overall ambience. Highly recommend this place.

Will definitely be back
My friends and I went to Rx Boiler Room before an event at Mandalay last Saturday night, and I have to say it did not disappoint. With a cute, steampunk decor and overall ambiance, I was slightly worried that it had the potential of being really pretentious, but it wasn't at all! Service was impeccable from start to finish. We were running late and needed to push back our res to 615, they were very friendly and accommodating. The waitress we had was very attentive, knew the menu inside an out, and made excellent reccomendations on cocktails. Food and drink wise the place was spot on and brought out in a timely manner. We also never felt rushed and overall we were treated like guests in a home. Pricing wasn't bad for the strip either!

Was surprised when we sat down everything was great

Good Pre-ONE show stop over
The food was quite good. I had the beet salad and burger that were both very tasty. The peach cobbler was OK as my wife and others can do better.

Just totally awesome!
A great way to expand your concept of food. Who knew mac and cheese could be so different?!?!! Great place and great service. Will be returning the next time I am in Vegas.

Much needed spot
I was most supprized at the quality vs price point. I felt this place was very fair, which is not found on the LV strip very often. I am a local, and to know there is a great spot to eat that is worth the price is amazing!!!

Romantic setting, good food!
The quirky menu piqued our interest and we were able to choose both tapas style appetizers (which you can spend the entire night eating!) as well as different entrees. The food isn't for the 'Outback Steakhouse' crowd, though - go if you have an open mind to wonderful, non run-of-the-mill menu items that are put together with fantastic results. The service was outstanding and the setting, wow! I saw a setup for large dinner parties but the booths long the sides of the main eating areas are perfect for quiet (and romantic?) situations. The bar looked fun, the the crowd was a bit sparse that night when we walked in, however, the "ONE" show just let out and was substantially more crowded on our way out. Great location, great food - enjoy!

My hubby & I were excited to try this new restaurant & it did not disappoint. We showed up for our reservation a little early & were seated immediately. Servers were very attentive & even mixed our cocktails at the table. We tried the smoked whiskey & cola, you could see the smoke in the whiskey bottle. They were very tasty. My husband had the skirt steak & I ordered the pork tacos. The skirt steak was well seasoned & melted in your mouth. The pork tacos came wrapped in the banana leaf it was steamed in. The meat was very well spiced & combined w/ the sweet and hot salsa was Devine. You could build your own tacos. Topped the meal off with fresh baked cookies &milk. The meal was the best in Vegas so far. Absolutely delicious!

Creative and fun eclectic dining
This restaurant was a great find. Loved the funky decor & menu
Waitresses were friendly and energetic; the overall vibe was fun
We both got hamburgers- one with truffle cheese-
The other with blue cheese. Tastey and served on wooden
Cutting boards. My husband got warm cookies and milk for
dessert! The drinks were concoctions for those who like
creativity Would recommend this place if you want to try
Something different and memorable

Totally enjoyed the dining experience. Will return next time I am in Las Vegas

Steampunk food fun
The decor is very 19th century (think Haunted Mansion) and the menu is intriguing to say the least (smoked gravlax under glass? Milkshakes with chocolate-covered bacon strips), but it definitely works. I stuck with the small bites (meze platter, the smoked lox), my husband had the pork tacos, and we split a small dish of their signature, five cheese mac and cheese and had a wonderful meal. The service was superb, too. I've already recommended this place to friends.

Our first trip to Vegas & RX boiler
We loved the cool atmosphere. Great atmosphere for dining and entertainment after the meal.
Service was fantastic! Food was fantastic!
Would recommend for all occasions. Ask for a split between the cheese and meat starter! I Had the pork tacos and they were great. My husband and my best friend had Osso Bucco. Asparagus was wonderful.
Really great place for after dinner for drinks.
Loved the atmosphere! We were there early, but it looks like great fun for singles, groups and others getting together to socialize!
The service was great with expert advice about menu and drink selections! I had the pork tacos and they were absolutely wonderful. Did not order dessert, but other tables did and the desserts looked wonderful!

Amazing experience, took some individuals to the Boiler Room because of a previous visit which also was amazing. Service and the attention to detail at the table and the delivery and presentation of food. Engaged conversation with service attendees and manager. Great group of individuals anxious to ensure your evening it's memorable.

I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. They seated us in a cozy booth where we could see all of the decor and special features of this restaurant. The staff was courteous, very helpful and happy. Our waiter was simply wonderful. He walked us through the different specialty cocktails and recommended some based on my mood for bourbon. The menu is adventurous and definitely fit for foodies. I'm not sure this menu is right for everyone, but in our case, we were delighted. Duck fat guacamole was just ok. The chicken pot pie nuggets were delicious. The kale caesar salad was perfect to share. I had the squid e o's (a squid ink pasta with calamari and spicy lamb/pork meatballs) and hubby had the sturgeon. Cheers!
