Great new addition to Paso
So happy to wholeheartedly recommend this new place from the owners of Il Cortile. My ceviche and sea bass dishes were superb, as was my husband's black eyed pea soup and pork chop. The service was superb, friendly and accommodating. They were also serving late (for Paso) on a Saturday night, which is a great bonus and most appropriate for a Latin American themed eatery.

A Latin harvest at La Cosecha
La Cosecha brings the harvest bounties of many Latin American countries.
Try the empenadas. You'll thank me later.
Try the Latin inspired specialty drinks. You'll send me a love note.

My new favorite
Thank you for creating another great restaurant! I love the Spanish, Central and South American flavors on this menu. I can't wait to get back for more!

Nice new restaurant
We are locals and had been to this restaurant for drinks before (great martinis), but decided to try it for brunch today. The black-eyed pea soup was very unusual and good, as was the ceviche of the day. My husband had the burger (NOT cooked to medium rare as he had requested), but it was still tasty. I had the quinoa and shrimp salad, which was good, but needed something else - it was just lettuce, quinoa and couscous, shrimp and oranges. Again, it was good, but not great. The one complaint I have is the cost of the wines by the glass. Since we are locals, we know the cost of some of the local wines on the list. A bottle that costs $22 to us, perhaps $18 wholesale, is being sold for $15 per glass!

Creative and Delicious!
Delicious latin flavors give new life to familiar foods, like the tender, flavorful glazed pork chop, duck leg confit, the empanadas and the ceviche with plantain chips. Everything was perfectly sauced, and balanced with lighter flavors so the food was not too heavy even on a warm Paso Robles evening. Our server knew every dish and gave excellent advice that helped us select the right amount of food. Although the wine list is carefully curated and reasonably priced, we chose to bring our own bottle of local wine for an also reasonable $20 corkage fee. Overall, this upscale casual and lively place is a great addition to the Paso dining scene and we plan to be regulars.

Liked it so much I went back
Liked it so much I went back a second night. Had the ceviche (again) and I think I could have it every day. I am looking forward to working through the whole menu. Great seasonal selection of dishes and drinks. Excellent wine list. All of the staff were great. I have been disappointed in some highly rated Paso restaurants ("Organic") - but I will make this a stop every time I am in town, It is very rare that I would give rave reviews to the Chef, Wait staff and bartenders but in this case they are all stars.

No what we expected.
Service and everything was good. The food experience was little disappointing, since it wasn't something you couldn't find elsewhere. Plus the prices are hi for the quality of food.

Great meal with great service
After reading a few reviews on Yelp, I was a bit concerned that this tapas style restaruant would not pan out. I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews because we had a great meal (shared 3 small plates and a paella) and it was PLENTY of food. We actually sat at the bar and the service, the drinks, the wine selection were all great. If you're in Paso this restaurant is worth checking out.

La Cosecha Oct 2013
I had read some mixed reviews but had to find out for myself. Went on a Saturday night. Started w/cocktails. Enjoyed a Finders Mule (a pineapple twist to my favorite "mule") for me & re:find vodka rocks for the hubs. I had ceviche of shrimp & scallops & an order of their braised aspargus w/both black & white truffle, manchego cheese sauce & poached egg. I would go back for that alone! The hubs had Pollo Rostisada...so YUM. Tender roasted chicken w/risotto. Really enjoyed our meal. The bar was hopping with people enjoying both food & drinks. Our server Braden, was very attentive & friendly. Small cozy sidewalk seating...great for people watching. Good location right of the square in the most adorable downtown area.

Great experience at La Cosecha
We have been visiting Paso Robles for many years and have enjoyed some excellent meals at Il Cortile. When we found that chef Santos of Il Cortile had started a new restaurant, La Cosecha, we were excited to try it. Our server, Andrea, was excellent, knowledgeable of the food and drinks and trackeddetails she did not have at her fingertips. We started (just two of us) with several small plates (asparagus with poached egg and shaved truffles, beef and potato empanadas, port tenderloin and spare ribs). All were outstanding with some interesting spices and flavor profiles. At that point, we were too full for any entrees, so closed out the evening with a coconut flan. Quality of the food and preparations were across the board extremely good.
