I was there with my wife and we loved so so much! The food was great and the atmosphere was very vibrant. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends!!!

The food here is beyond amazing!!! Simply marcelous! Khinkali, lamb stew, adjaruli - delish! The flavors are complex.... Perfection in each bite. There are vigan options marked with green "V" on the menu. Cute!

Wehad a very nice experience at Oda and would gladly return. Food and Services were excellent. The attentive waitress was
more than helpful with suggestions and they were delicious. Worth a try for great Georgian food.

Interesting, different, and yummy
I am particular about eating good (as in tasty and good for you) food and the Eastern block food has rarely appealed to me. This place is different: it has interesting vegetable dishes and delicious cheese breads. The chicken soup was incredibly good with lots of herbs. The whines were also surprisingly interesting and good (I am from Italy and the standard is high). The place is pleasant and has some ethnic touches. The music was soft and really enjoyable (a mix of really cool hip international selections, no Euro pop here). I would definitely come back for more.

With five friends I spent an enjoyable evening at the Oda house. The food was superb and plentiful. There were lots of choices; we shared three appetizers and then each of us had a main course. We had more food than we could finish (so I had a doggy bag).
The wait staff was very pleasant. The wine was very good. Oda house is not fancy -- it seems a down-home place and is very comfortable. We were able to have wonderful conversations because the noise level was low.

Delicious, exotic, and friendly.
Basically Georgian home cooking with friendly service and delicious, decadent food. Highly recommended.

Just so good
Get that cheese and egg bread, and the walnut salad is fab too.

This restaurant serves Georgian food which was a new revelation to me. They have Khachapuri bread which was chewy and cheesy and delightful. I ordered the cornish hen which was grilled to perfection. My hisband had Lbio which is a bean stew and flavored with unusual and delicious ingredients!

The place is a great place
The place is a great place for a casual dinner. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. It's one of a kind in the East Village and Manhattan, and definitely worth a visit. I have been twice and enjoyed the food both times.

Georgian food might not be on your must try list - but it should be. Lovely place, excellent food. Great Georgian wines. i went with my adult son who had lived in Georgia for last year. He thought it was wonderful and very true to its culture.

you can avoid the carb bombs but
may not want to. Mushroom soup and chicken salad were flavorful and virtuous bus but yogurt cheese bread was the big swoon. The folks around us had pretty intriguing plates. Halloween night was free dessert, a pumpkin, cherry, pumpkin seed assembly that was savory but not too sweet.

Good wine selection, great breads
Apps and entrees are fine, but the reason to go to Oda House are the bread selections -- awesome! I also enjoyed the reasonably priced Georgian wine selections

We love the food, and the
We love the food, and the wine list is full of interesting Georgian wines. The service could use some improvement. The waitress came to take our order within 3 minutes after we got the menus. When we said we weren't ready to order, she told us she was ready to answer questions and then stood there waiting for us to make up our minds. The food delivery was prompt and well paced, and the dishes were cleared promptly. We would have ordered dessert, but nobody came to ask. After 15 minutes of sitting ignored, we asked for the check and left. We'll definitely go back, just not on a Saturday night at prime time.

I had dumplings, khacapuri, Georgian sparkling wine, walnut salad and orange cake. We ate them all up and loved it all! There were loads of waiters, but you had to short of grab their attention. I would totally go here again!

Overall very pleasant experience.
Overall very pleasant experience. The appetizer plates were the highlight, with the main courses being more ordinary flavorwise. One lamb dish was notable in a tarragon sauce. The service tended to be slow, but we were a large group and the demeanor of all the servers was so lovely, we barely noticed. I recommend trying Oda House!

Our reservation was very early - and on arriving there the restaurant was practically empty. It gave us an odd feeling.
We had great difficulty to park our car - no garage in the neighborhood.
The waitresses provided us all the attention. Georgian wine started our dinner and it was delicious.
Some of the food was spectacular - like their chicken lemon soup. Their doughy dishes were less so.
As the hours progressed many customers came and Oda House looked like a favorite place for the neighborhood.
I would definitely go back - but without a car.
