Vibrant hidden gem
I love kilo. I've been twice in the last month and I don't even live in new york. It's a must visit whenever I am in town, namely thanks to the incredible menu, attentive waitstaff and neighborhood vibe. The price is also very reasonable, and even with a few drinks.

A gem in the neighborhood
We could not have been happier with our dinner at Kilo - everything was delicious and our waiter (a sommelier) turned us onto some great wines to pair with the assortment of small plates that we ordered. No disappointments here!

Great in HK
Glad I discovered this place. Good food. Staff is awesome and knowledgeable. Pretty good wine list for the area all at reasonable prices.

My husband and I had dinner at Kilo while on vacation in New York. The food and ambiance were both fantastic, and I cannot say enough good things about the exceptional service. Our server was present but not overbearing, and really knew the menu. He also made great recommendations for wine and the cheese plate. I highly recommend Kilo!

My new favorite!
This is my new favorite in the Hells Kitchen neighborhood. I loved the service and the ambiance, and the food selection was wonderful. We had two special salads and a few other main dishes. The wine and beer selections were great as well.

Quiet place for lunch
We were the only people there for lunch. So if you're looking for a quiet place, this works. Very limited menu and beverage selections, so be aware of this before booking

Nice neighborhood wine bar
Really good food and great wine list. Service was very nice too. The dishes are fairly priced for the area I think however the wines are pretty expensive. The place is small so good for couples or small group,
Overall great place, will come back.

I love tapas...and I'm always looking for new places to eat them. I liked how Kilo doesn't have the classic tapas selection - instead . I loved the relaxed ambience and enjoyed sitting at a high top table. The dim lighting provides a lovely romantic feel. Our favorite dishes were the kale and seafood tacos. The bartender was extremely helpful - my boyfriend wanted a Hot Toddy but their bar only has wine and beer - the bartender was so helpful and made a special sangria concoction which was even more delicious than a Hot Toddy. My only complaint was that many of our tapas came out without a serving spoon making it hard to split amongst us. All in all, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

We ordered 8 small plates for 4 of us and every one was great. They came out well timed for relaxed sharing. I will happily go back. Service was great!!

My husband and I went here on a Wednesday night and sat at the bar. Tip: it seems you need a reservation even to sit at the bar (we had one) but we saw them turn people away who tried to casually sit there. So get a reservation before arriving. It's a small place so I'm sure that's why. Everything we ordered was excellent - the meatballs, crostini and skillet kale were standouts. Great wine list and the bartender (I think he was a somm) was impressive and chose wines that we absolutely loved. I wouldn't go here with more than 4 people because it's an intimate space. Great for couples.

Kilo is one of a number of very small wine bars in the neighborhood that offer a relief from the generally mediocre, often touristy-feeling places around. Food was fantastic and seemed well-priced for the portion size. Excellent wine list. Our server this evening was harried and a bit lacking in friendliness--but this was more than compensated for by the bartender, who has a great attitude and knowledge of wine. We will definitely be back soon!

Perfect for late night dining
Great service, good food, intimate environment - at least on a Tuesday evening.

Small place, a little rough around the edges but felt like a comfortable neighborhood spot. But the food was superlative and the waitstaff friendly and attentive.

Very good small plates
We came here for an early dinner before a show. We started with the olives and goat cheese crostini, both of which were delicious. The bread served with the olives was also good- chewy on the inside with a crisp crust. The goat cheese crostini are a must- generous amount of cheese and the pumpkin seeds are a great touch. Then we got the duck salad, which was my favorite plate. The duck was very succulent and the dressing was so good! The meatballs also tasted good and were moist, but a bit too burnt on the outside. The pumpkin pudding was good, but not the most exciting dessert. The prices for the food are reasonable, but the beer and wine are overpriced, but are good quality. Great place, but small, so make a reservation.

Tasty Small Plates
A good choice for Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. We made a very tasty dinner out of small plates. Duck salad, wood-ear mushrooms, and slab bacon were interesting and delicious. Scallops not. There was a large wine list and several interesting choices of wine by the glass. Service was informal, friendly, and attentive. Quarters are tight and intimate. There is music but not above the conversational level. We would definitely go again.

We chose Kilo based on location because we had theater tickets and the reviews were good. What a great find! All portions were perfect for sharing for 2. Food was brought out gradually as tapa should be, and each wasmore delicious that the last. Great service. Good wine options and all at a veryreasonable price for NY standards. Such a nice option away from Tihes Square if you have a show to catch. Highly recommend.
