Dining done right.
The food, the service, the brand new product that they are offering is outstanding. I love the feeling of the restaurant as well as the menu. I would recommend that anyone come in to dine at Red Roost Tavern. The menu is thrilling and the new Farm to Table concept is something that should be observed everywhere.

Best New Restaurant in Cincinnati
I stopped in to the Red Roost Tavern for lunch and I was blown away. It has a great modern look and amazing atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly and the food was absolutely incredible (short ribs on a pretzel bun, fries, and a slice of strawberry shortcake) . I found out all their food is locally sourced which is a cool bonus; I cannot wait to go back with clients and coworkers to try the other items on the menu!

Fantastic Farm to Table Experience
We went to the Red Roost Tavern to celebrate Father's Day brunch. What really made the experience for us was the fact that they work with local farmers and, as much as possible, they source locally and organically.
The breakfast bar was fantastic, I highly recommend the biscuits and goetta gravy! There was a lot of fresh fruit, cage free scrambled eggs, natural bacon and amazing breakfast potatoes.
The chef even stopped out during our meal to make sure that everything was as it should be! This was definitely one the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a very long time!
The seating was comfortable, the food was fantastic and I am definitely planning a return trip!

I ordered the 'free-range chicken, succotash and new potatoes" - EXCELLENT! My food was perfectly prepared and presented. The service was professionally attentive and everyone pitched in and made sure that our drinks were filled at all times - and we just had water. I'll be back in Cincy in two weeks and I'll be returning!

On a whim, we decided to try Red Roost Tavern. The food was incredible. The corn soup was smooth, flavorful and topped off with a tomato jam. The cedar plank salmon was cooked perfectly, and finished with a mustard grapefruit sauce. The server was unassuming and helpful. It's a shame Cincinnati hasn't discovered this new restaurant.

Read the City Beat review,
Read the City Beat review, they were spot on. Every dish we ordered was enjoyable, always looking for memorable, and would go back for the short rib flat bread, Halibut, rib eye, and the mint Julep. I was surprised that I knew the young man who prepared our meals, (Winn), he is very talented. I have been in the high end side of the industry since the last supper, not his relative.

The food was good - the menu creative. I had salmon with a mustard glaze and grapefruit butter sauce ($26). That came with a choice of 2 sides. I took the quinoa with cherries and almonds and the cauliflower with raisins and pine nuts. Since those sides separately cost $6 and $5 respectively I found it good deal. My friend had chicken with a rosemary lemon jus ($22) and for his two sides the quinoa and roasted potatoes. The dinner service was kind of slow in terms of the kitchen and the restaurant was freezing cold, but the food was good. As a hotel guest I was back for breakfast the next morning and the buffet had a lot of options which I enjoyed.

Great first experience!
The restaurant was the perfect place to take my family - one vegetarian, two gluten-frees and three meat-eating carb lovers. The most outstanding dish was the short-rib pappardelle. My vegetarian loved the grit cake with fava beans. The restuarant happily substitued a gluten-free crust for the flatbread and burger dishes we ordered.
The restuarant is beautiful--elegant and contemporary. The staff is a little young/green but extremely friendly and accomodating, and answered a range of questions about ingredients and food preparation.
The staff treated our table to a complementary dessert in honor of a special occasion we were celebrating. They really went above & beyond!

This was our first visit and we were very impressed. Very comfortable, attentive service and wonderful food. We were there for lunch and I must say the short rib sandwich was among the best I have ever had. We will be back as the menu has some very interesting items waiting to be tried.

New with potential
Spacious, good looking. Valet parking at the Hotel entrance. Eclectic menu anything from flatbreads and burgers to full entrees like dishes.

Wonderful food & service
Our group of co-workers have been here twice and love it. No one has had a bad dish and the service was outstanding. The staff went out of their way to welcome us. We were treated to two free apps and a birthday dessert for our co-worker's birthday. We will be back.

I went in during my lunch break and the food was fantastic! It was enough food to fill me up without making me want to fall asleep when I got back to the office. I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich on the pretzel bun! The service was fast and polite which is great because I do not have a long lunch break. I highly recommend it to anyone downtown for lunch.

Since the weather is getting colder we were looking for a lunch location closer to work. Went with a group of co-workers and loved. Menu is varied so everyone found what they were looking for and food was great. Able to get in and out quickly too.

Visited the Red Roost Tavern on Thanksgiving Day for their brunch. First time to the restaurant and I was very pleased with their brunch. All things Thanksgiving were available as were other items and everything was good. Service was good, especially those at the serving stations.

The remodel is nice and the food is excellent for the prices. Downtown with the kids for a show so was convenient and thought would be more kid friendly (and it was. Arrived at 6:00 PM and the only ones in the restaurant. and still that way when we left at 7:30. Hope it stays in business because the food is great and affordable. Do many business lunches their during the week and is always consistent. I would recommend.
