Great Place! Fantastic Food
I went on opening night with work colleagues. The food was fantastic. It is a supper club so it's a set menu. It was served family style and there was a ton of it. We all left stuffed and could not stop raving about the food the next day. This is another Philly gem!

Best food in long time
A fixed menu was served but it was excellent! The calamari was delicately spiced .the grilled salad was tasty. The ragu of meatballs and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The cheese platter was a good array of mild to strong and the fruit compote was to die for. The ice cream was smooth with excellent flavor. Truly one if the best meals I have had in a long time. And the service was attentive but not rushed.

Exciting prix-fixe, family-style
After achieving success in farm-to-table fare at both Talula's Table and Talula's Garden, Aimee Olexy crossed her roots to create a home-style American concept that pays homage to everyone's favorite childhood dishes--with an inevitable upscale twist, of course. Easygoing and pared down, the dual-room space features a bar area and simple dining room. Serving one $50 four-course prix-fixe dinner, Olexy treats you to a nightly surprise and second-helpings. You can count on the meal including a soup or salad, an entree such as veal/pork/shortrib meatballs, a cheese course and family-style dessert. Revolutionary for Philly!

The place is beautiful - a
The place is beautiful - a sweet country haven in the middle of the city - and the service is excellent. Food was delicious and plentiful. Wine and beer list were also very good. The menu is fashioned after Thomas Keller's Ad Hoc in Napa so the menu is set except for accommodations made for allergies, etc. It is a fun concept and format. There is a "snack" course which is really an appetizer, salad, main, cheese and dessert. You will not leave hungry and you may leave with leftovers! Very enjoyable.

Great concept - Great Food
For those not familiar with the concept it's simple. Show up and enjoy the menu for that month.
Talula's Daily clearly draws inspiration from Ad-Hoc in Yountvile, and that is a good thing.
No decisions, just delicious food. We enjoyed the inaugural August menu, and found each dish to be delicious.
Each dish on the menu is deceptively simple, but it's the execution that makes all the difference. We cleaned every plate. A fun nice touch was the extra helping of the Meatballs and Tagliatelle.
As for the service it was excellent, with the timing of the dishes being spot on. When it comes to cheese, TD did not disappoint. As an added bonus we bought the one we liked best for a second tasting @ home. We expect to return frequently!

We will dine there monthly in order to savor each month's culinary offerings.

Great food, Great service!
Excellent food. Excellent Service. It was freeing to not have to think about what to order and to just be taken care of. Some things on the menu may sound strange, but trust the chefs. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

For THE MOST SPECIAL EVENING.......
Make your reservation ASAP....As soon as you walk in you feel as tho you are being entertained in someone's home. The staff greets you so warmly and makes you feel as though you are the only people she or he cares about. Lucky Philadelphia.....The decor, ambiance are only the beginning to the most creative wonderful food.
The concern for their clients allergies was beyond impressive. This establishment could serve as a learning center for how to do it all correctly.
The menu choices were clearly planned very carefully. From beginning to end all the food choices were outstanding.
My only concern was that we cannot return till next month because we are still full.
What a special evening....

Awesome dining experience--must try
We've been Aimee Oxley fans since Django and quickly made a reservation here for the supper club (with the cheese plate being the big draw for us). It did not disappoint. The set menu was superb (and filling). The cheese plate was fantastic (a work of art, with great explanation of the cheeses). Every server was helpful, attentive and friendly. When we had to make a change to one dish for a diner, not only did the kitchen accommodate--but they called me in advance to ask what she would like. I've only got two minor issues. The wine choices were a little limited and a touch high on the markup (a solid $35 red would be nice). And the place is already so popular, I can't find another Saturday night reservation. That is my problem. Book now.

We loved the surprise element
We loved the surprise element of coming for a five-course meal totally planned for you, without knowing what it was. It was really delicious -- different, but not too different. Service was wonderful. As comfortable as sitting in a fabulous country kitchen.

Another amazing Aimee Olexy gem
Talula's Daily is simply fabulous. This was my second time and during both meals, I savored every bite. The service was also terrific and it is like eating in the cozy home of a lovely friend. As with Aimee's other 2 restaurants, this is a must-try experience. You will want to come back! And of course, because there is also a market, you can take some goodies home!

Great food, odd decor
Despite the main course being overly salty, the food was outstanding, just like big sister Talula's Garden next door. Go with an adventurous spirit and let the courses come as they may! They do accommodate allergies and offered us a fish dish when we couldn't eat the very salty lamb dish. You might remember the brioche in a flowerpot from Django!
The servers were well-trained, though not very knowledgeable about the wine list (i.e. describing an Australian Shiraz as light-bodied). Decor: mish mash of a store with huge, black cooler, racks of sauces for sale, country cutesy "art". Very off-putting was the server's constant reminders that all the dinnerware was from Anthropologie. No shilling at the dinner table, please.

Food was outstanding as well
Food was outstanding as well as service. Perfect small restaurant for a more romantic and private feeling. Went for my Anniversary, and it was a perfect fit. the price fixed menu combined with excellent service and small dinning area allows for a VIP experience without a VIP checking account.

Great Kitchen Feel
Talula's daily is a great new addition the Philly restaurant scene. The bare wooden tables, open kitchen, and laid service create a unique "family kitchen" atmosphere. You really feel like you are eating in someone's house. The food was very tasty, although I thought it was a bit carb-heavy. But the cheese course was amazing and the zuchini bread was to dye for. If you can get a reservation I strongly recommend going.

Awesome addition to Philly lineup
Finally there is a Talula's that will immediately satisfy everyone's quest for fabulous food, extraordinary service and availability of reservations within a reasonable timeframe. Excellent menu with a fine presentation by an extremely knowledgable and attentive (without being overbearing) staff. The personalized cheese plate, tailored to each diner's taste, was just one of the many high notes of a lovely evening.
My advice is to check the monthly menu on line, make a reservation and then go enjoy this lovely restaurant with its quirky place settings, homey furniture, great waitstaff and fabulous food. You will be glad you did!

Food was excellent. Music
Food was excellent. Music was too loud and did not seem appropriate.

Outstanding Food & Service
Lovely October Menu. Fit for foodies. Everything was well prepared and delicious having you want more. The servers were very attentive, friendly and professional. Although each course portion is on the smaller side, the menu was so filling we were stuffed after dessert. We'll be back with friends after the Menu changes.

5-course dinner is fantastic!
My friend and I, both fans of Talula's Garden opted to try the 5 course dinner at Talula's Daily. While certainly not cheap (dinner and 2 drinks came to $95 each with tax and tip), all of the food was delicious. All five courses were superb and were accompanied by warm, freshly-baked and buttered bread. The restaurant is also charming and the service is impeccable. This dinner is absolutely worth trying for a special occasion! (Caveat: There are no substitutions for the dinner menu, which changes monthly -- make sure you check the menu before you make a reservation!)

Love the Daily
I had first gone to the "TABLE" in Kennett Square earlier this year and was in love with the food and the experience. I received an email about the "DAILY" and their Secret Super Club. I was intrigued and wanted to try it out. Was not disappointed. I love the ambience and the decor's relaxed environment. The food was outstanding. It was a party in your mouth. The Bread in the Pot is too die for!!! Will definitely return.

Out of your comfort zone & rewarded
Try something new at Talula's Daily Secret Supper Club and get out of your comfort zone. You will be well rewarded with a fresh twist on foods you may have eaten and others you may never have thought to try. We loved our dinner, from start to finish and look forward to visiting again soon! Of course, I hesitate to share this with anyone as we want it to be accessible to us when we want to visit again, but we know that sharing Talula's with others will only make it better (if it could be any better...) So, what are you waiting for? Make a reservation. Bring friends. Talk about it. Go back for dinner again. We will be back.

This was a great find. Bet it gets hard to get a reservation. Food was superb, maybe best meal I have had ever. Will go back
If I can.

Spectacular "Secret Supper Club"
The menu changes each month to be seasonally appropriate. Check their web site for the menu. The current menu is perfect for the early autumn. Each of the courses is perfectly prepared and the flavor combinations are unique, interesting, and delightful. The plates are expertly presented as one should expect from the highly trained and experienced staff from the chef, to the cheese monger, to the server. It is called a "Secret Supper Club" and I would strongly suggest booking a table before the secret gets out. Right now week day dining can be very intimate with few other patrons taking advantage of this rare and wonderful treat. Talula's Daily provides a memorable dining experience that you will savor long after the meal.

We had the November Fall Dinner
We had the November Fall Dinner Menu. The goose charcuterie and parsnip soup were both outstanding. The skate was moist and flavorful, but too salty for my taste. The cheese board and apple tatin were both tasty, but nothing exceptional. Nice intimate space with tables for two or four, but when the table for 10 is occupied with a large group, it can become a bit noisy.

Fantastic Service and Food
All 5 of our courses were amazing. As was the service. We would go there again and again. Wonderful Birthday Experience!

Great experience, but self park
Farm fresh, beautifully prepared and presented. Wonderful, attentive and unpretentious service. Quite, comfortable yet simple atmosphere made for easy conversation with my dining companion, which we both greatly appreciate. The valet parking was a disaster. For around 30 minutes they couldn't find my car and were befuddled as to how to find it. An awful ending to an otherwise great evening.

Foodie goodie, hidden next door...
Tulula's Garden next door is the name draw, here is a surprising hidden gem. It's $50 a head chef seasonal tasting style. We were both stuffed by dessert. Don't ask about the menu, just sit backlands let the surprise you. The food was wonderful, service was caring without being overbearing.
The wine menu proving is a bit steep relative to the dinner price, and with a moderate bottle you could easily turn a $100 into $200 check just with or bottle and tip. My only complaint.
Besides this, for a $100 dinner for two if you love Food an enjoy trying new surprises... This is a great date night spot with a predicable check before you order. Absolutely would each here again next season when the menu rolls over.
