Not bad, could use tuning
It was a mixed bag with Morgan's Pier. They seem to be just figuring out the direction. Atmosphere and food were very sophisticated. The service was excellent. However, our cocktails were served in plastic cups a-la-college bar style and their wasn't any particular dress code at the bar. I think once the bar steps up it's scene, it will create a more cohesive setting. They may be afraid of losing revenue with their regulars though? Also, we came for the dancing but the DJ was just OK. House music? Really? I like something I know the words to. Something I can say "I love this song!" Overall though, I think that it is heading the right direction to a really great spot.

Stateside was my favorite restaurant and I was thrilled to find the former chef and my favorite Stateside waiter at Morgan's Pier. We came on a rainy, chilly Saturday night for my birthday. Despite the less than perfect weather, we had a truly wonderful experience. The beer list is great and everyone loved their entree( the pig board was my favorite). The staff was exceptional and thoughtful and extremely accommodating in every way. We can't wait to go back on a warm, sunny day!

New on Water, Morgan's Pier's here
Not bad Not bad. Awesome view. I enjoyed watching the moon rise over the BenFranklinBridge. Then the train rode across! Cool
atmosphere. I can see myself being a regular. Only draw back, 1. Plastic cups(in a marina) and 2. It's mostly outdoors so be nice Mother Nature

I must say when I pulled up in the cab to Morganspier I was completely hooked at the entrance steps and deck. The open feel right off the bat. The ultimate experience feeling came when my friends and I were walking by past the hotdog vendor to arrive to our "elicited dining." It was incredible, the night the atmosphere and the eclectic group of young people working there. I've been looking for that one reason philadelphia is where I should stay. Morgan's pier is the best spot I have ever been too.

Awesome ambience, OK food.
you probably will be ok with the beer selection, don't go near cocktails other than sangria.

Best for drinks and munchies!
Apps and munchies were way more impressive than my actual meal! I would definitely just order apps and drinks next time I go back.

A Pleasant Surprise
Morgan's Pier has a great setting on the water, fun, funky furniture and decor and an amazing beer selection. The pleasant surprise was the food - small plates for sharing (my favorite way to eat, especially in the summer) and every single dish we ordered was fantastic! The service was both deft and super-friendly, with the entire staff seemingly responsible for the every guest's happiness. Pretty sure you'll never hear anyone say, "I'll get your waitress." If you need something, whoever is nearby will make sure you get it. I look forward to returning in cooler weather - it was hot and sticky with a looming thunderstorm when I was there - because I'll definitely be returning!

Great place for music and food!
If you like good American food done exceptionally well, with a great outdoor scene look no further! The music is great just like the food! I'll be there all season long!

Love the place
It was a really great place with unique food options and drinks. The scenery is awesome and it is a cool set up. Perfect for a nice summer night. I'd recommend, although I wasn't too happy with the menu and the food. Definitely different and I am picky, but not horrible. And the scenery made up for it. We had a great time!

Rare spot in Philly
I went after work on a Tuesday in July and it was very low key- I can imagine it can get very crowded there. The service was excellent and the menus was small, but enough variety. This is not the place you go for a meal, but to taste and try lots of small portions of great food. I found the presentation slightly pretentious for a venu that could look like a crab and clam shack....but nothing against the taste and sauce pairings with the meat and vegetable boards. I recommend them both. Being on the water, feeling te breeze and transporting yourself away from Center City- a rare treat and one I will gladly return.

A meal at the Pier
There isn't a nature boy put there who wouldn't enjoy
a meal at the Pier prices are slightly higher than desired BUT, guess that
what ya get. A day on the river, how fun. Ooh no glass either-->marina rules

Morgans Pier is great!
Great food and a nice outdoor bar scene! We were just in time for some menu changes which were wonderful! After the food we were treated to some awesome music thanks to R5 productions. Tobacco was the music artist for the evening! The new meat board was incredible! The buffalo wings were AMAZING along with the cheeseburger, and corn on the cob with lobster butter! If you like unique music and amazing food Morgans Pier is your place!

The pier,that's where it poppin
The seasonal beer selection changes often. The menu does as well. The food options are slim but all are substantial and good. The dessert menu is interesting and their funnel cakes are the real thing. Yum. Love being on the river, on a wooden deck nestled under the Big Ben Bridge. I always find myself here during a full moon and I really enjoy myself. One set back. They're closed this week(Sept25) for the season. Spring-hurry Up....
