Wonderful place to meet as a group. Warm, friendly staff. Loved the new decor!

Coopers Mill was a delight to dine in. The menu was local, fresh and creative. I loved the crab cakes, the best I have ever had. They were all crab meat and almost no filling. The lemon desert was to die for. Still thinking about Coopers Mill and cannot wait to return again. Haven’t been this delightfully surprised by a restaurant in a long time let alone one in a Hotel.

Don't Let the Hotel Fool You
You know the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover", well that's definitely true here. When my husband drove into the parking lot and walked me through the Marriott, I though oh well there goes our romantic night. When we walked in the restaurant I was beyond pleasantly surprised. It was rustic, hip, trendy and definitely a place that would survive in manhattan - that's always my test for restaurants; could it survive in Manhattan. The food and ambience were great, as was the service. I'd eat there again!

Went to Coopers Mill with 2 of my clients for a quick bite. Food was amazing, loved the Onion and Riccotta Flat Bread. Can not wait to go back and get it again!

Good Food and wine
We started with a flatbread appetizer that was out of this world and finished with some tasty dinner entrees. Nice wine list. We were all satisfied with the food but disappointed with the service. It wasn't the waitress' fault - apparently the restaurant did not correctly anticipate the crowds. Long waits between courses and delivery of drinks.

The food was amazing. The chef is a true designer. The presentation was beautiful and everything was delicious except the coffee. Way too strong.
What I would say is this. You need to decide to either make it a family simple hamburger restaurant OR elegant place to dine. I think it's fighting for both positions.
I would come back because the food was elegant, but when you pay $38.00 for a steak I think you would want the place to be a bit more upscale.

Great food, but service was lacking
We went to Cooper's Mill for brunch on Sunday and though the food was delicious, it took 40 minutes for our meal to arrive and when it did, many of the orders were wrong -- not so wrong that anyone sent their food back, but not what many of us ordered, either. For example, my omelette was supposed to be made with egg whites but it was made with whole eggs. The filling was supposed to be cheese, bacon, mushrooms and spinach. What arrived was spinach, mushrooms and tomato. However, it was very tasty.
The fact that we were a party of 11 people, probably complicated matters, but a good restaurant should be able to serve that size party more quickly and accurately. That said, the food was so good we would try Cooper's Mill again.

Such a fun night!!
I want to say that our Server Stephanie [she know's who she is!! ;) ] made our experience at Cooper's Mill fantastic. The food was good, and they moderately adapted for two of our party who were vegan [myself included]. The ambience was great and we were a particularly rowdy group of ladies on a "mom's night out!" The only reason i didn't give five stars for overall was that using the Open Table online reservation i gave them a couple day notice about the vegan guests attending, it would have been nice if they had thrown together a simple vegan dinner option for us. No biggie of course because many places don't and i totally would still go back for sure!! Thanks Cooper's Mill for a great night!!

My husband & I decided to
My husband & I decided to share our entrees, so we both split the truffled pasta and the rib eye steak. Both dishes were very flavorful and prepared nicely. The steak was medium rare as requested. The broccoli was nice and crunchy, not mushy. The peach cobbler was nice and peachy. Columbian coffee was nice and rich. Wines were affordable by the glass or bottle. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly.

Fun night out with friends
I have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of a 20 oz. rib-eye steak as an entree for one person. My husband and my friend both ordered the rib-eye. Oh boy, left-overs. My girl friend and I ordered the lamb chops. Scrumptious! Everything was perfectly prepared just as we requested. The starters were very satisfying as well as the desserts.

Extremely good food =)
They have a very good chef and excellent service. I think it's kind of hard to find a place that sells american food that you would call "fine dining" - but this knocks it out of the park.

The waitress Karen we had was wonderful, friendly caring and checking in on us often. As far as the food we had the scallops but it was only 5 of them with no vegetable or potato, it was not enough food. It was delicious though. But did not fill us up at all.

Interesting food, beer, poor servic
Being attracted to farm to table restaurants we had high hopes for the food and it didn't disappoint. Creative, seasonal fresh ingredients attractively plated. The soup, salad, bread were really excellent. The vegetable s accompanying the entrees very nicely done. However, the service was almost comical. From servers to waiter, none of them knew what they were doing. The servers came out of the kitchen having no idea which table the food was for, wandering around until folks recognizing their food waved them over. The tables in our area decided we needed a team effort and tried to keep track of who was waiting for what course. Our waiter knew nothing about the craft beers, got our ice cream flavors wrong and thought it was funny.

Relaxing, enjoyable affair.
Cooper's Mill was a great rustic place to dine and relax. It was a very comfortable scene for us to unwind and enjoy a great meal. I had the Cod with Spinach and he had the Lamp Chop. All starting with a Portabello flatbread and house Cabernet.
It was a perfect meal for a much needed getaway. I would definitely recommend Cooper's Mill to a friend.

This restaurant is hidden in the Marriott Westchester, and is truly a gem! We had a 7 p.m. tour and the server was able to rush our order. We were out of the restaurant in no time and made it to our destination!
The food was delicious, original and creative. I highly recommend the pumpkin Manhattan when it's on the menu :). Also, the portions were nicely sized with a variety of vegetarian fare.

We hadn't known about Cooper's Mill but were glad to have found it. The food was good but the service was excellent. We were not rushed and were able to relax and enjoy our meal. A special recommendation: try to flatbread with portabellos, mushroom puree, red onions and fontina cheese. It was delicious!

a surprise - food was very
a surprise - food was very good - unfortunately - restaurant has a "hotel" feel - it is in the Marriott - however - they do not rush you, you can talk there, and the food is so much better than you would expect. Although I will not rush back - this place will be in my mind as a good alternative if I want to catch up with people and have a leisurely presented dinner.

My family and I had plans to go up to Sleepy Hollow for an event. We wanted somewhere to eat that wouldn't involve a headache for parking, that offered enough different food options for the picky ones among us, but also something fresh and adult for the rest of us. I ordered the seared pork belly with lentils as an appetizer, which was large enough for a small entree. I also had the pear and fennel salad and it was just right. The burgers, crab cake, and pasta was all a big hit by the rest of the party. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back!

Crab cakes and fun ice cream
While you are in the Marriott it does not feel like it. The chef has a few surprises that come to the plate. Best crab cakes had in awhile. Fun ice cream flavors always a surprise! Nice staff.

Service was courteous and attentive. Food - actually better than expected. However, the entrees would have benefited from a side of a vegetable. Loved the mushroom flatbread. Only complaint was the cold air blowing from a vent above the table.

Ready to go back.
Food was wonderful! Service was great. Our waitress was Vanessa - very knowledgeable and friendly.

Made a reservation for HV Rest. Week- took a chance as hotel restaurants usually are not all that.. we were pleasantly surprised!! from first to last course, the food was fabulous!! The salad w/acorn squash was HUGE and delicious while the squash soup was divine.the bread was fresh, the entrees were wonderful -- I had the 14 oz pork chop w/pumpkin grits and roasted Brussels sprouts -- flavors all blended nicely. Others had the salmon or the chicken and everyone was raving (mind you this is a foodie dining club - 12 attended - everyone was happy) The desserts were great too - but by time they arrived most of us were really full, so those chocolate bread puddings didn't get finished. Everyone loved it, and most will go back again..

Took a chance after reading a few iffy reviews and I was glad I did. We were off to a hesitant start but the waitstaff accommodated us by answering all of our questions. Cocktails and wines were very good. Appetizers were tasty crab cakes and acorn squash salad.a bread basket's contents would have been tastier warm. A smoked filet mignon needed a few minutes longer to make it medium-rare, but it was tender and quite tasty. Homemade ice creams are subtly flavored and yummy.

Suprising find nearby
We loved the warm feel of this place - antique wood paneling and lovely lighting. The food was great - we started with a few delicious salads and a fabulous butternut squash soup with toasted pumpkin seeds. We each had a different entree - each thought their's was the best. Karen, our waitress was wonderful. I will most certainly return.
