Best Italian Restaurant in NYC
Came here with some friends for dinner last night and had a really good time. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The head chef stopped by our table to ask how our food tasted which I thought was very nice of him. This is such a beautiful, cozy little restaurant with delicious authentic Sicilian food. Will be back soon!

Authentic Italy in heart of soho
We heard this place has deliveries from Italy every 3 days and that everything they serve is direct from Italy. I have no idea if that is true, but the food was wonderful. Fresh, and tasty.

A great find in Soho
We loved everything about this small gem of an Italian restaurant in Soho. The menu offered some unusual Sicilian specialities (not the same old same old), and everything we chose was delicious (and hot - a pet peeve of mine!). It's a small space, so a noisy table next to your table is.... noisy, but the atmosphere was otherwise fun and friendly. We are already talking about going back.

Food was great. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. Price was wonderful. Pasta was wonderful. Perfect proportion and taste.Price was great. Wonderful place for good food, good ambiance (albeit a bit 'cozy"). That's the beauty of it.

Amore, Sapore, Colore! My new find
A very original Sicilian restaurant in a very subtle charming neighborhood. The food is consistent and exquisite, the service is attentive, and the ambience is very warming. Being from a Sicilian family, this restaurant has my stamp on it. I started off with the grilled calamari which had a perfect balance and taste, followed by the Lobster Linguini which was out of this world to only be accompanied with a crisp white whine. Very delicate tasteful food. But then again, you must try for yourself! Definitely coming back to enjoy a $10 pasta lunch special while sitting on an outside table this fall!

Piccola Cucina Osteria is fabulous
We sat within the frame of the open French doors, so we had the best of two worlds: Spring St and the open kitchen beyond the smattering of place matte- tables within this new osteria.
We couldn't decide what appetizers to order, so the manager offered to bring a sampling of six appetizers we selected. Service was attentive and the food was delicious and refreshingly different.
Spring Street between 6th Avenue and West Broadway is European in flavor with small shops and small restaurants and happy New Yorkers strolling with and without their dogs. ( A Great Dane looked wildly out of place, but very calm and well-mannered.)
Dine before the French doors need to be closed and early evening light fades and Eastern Standard Tome returns.

Was here with a group of 12, six visiting from Italy, and everyone loved their meal. Food was delicious and service was great. We'll definitely return often.

Authentic Sicilian food
Authentic food from Sicily. Service is more similar to Italian standards than to American standards (informal, sometimes not that attentive), but it makes the entire experience more authentic. Decent wine list reasonably priced.

This space was tiny but the food and service were great. The pastas are homemade and the selections covered the tastes of everyone in our group of 8. Appetizers were interesting and delicious!

This is a winner
This is an authentic, classy wine/bar restaurant. The place is really tiny and the waiters are from Italy; what they lack in verbal communication, they made up for in warmth and class. All appetizers, main courses, and desserts were truly outstanding. This place is a winner. It is casual and comfortable. Just note that the door can cause a cold breeze in the room, so bring a coat just in case.

Clearly the chef uses only the best ingredients, perfectly executed. Very tasty - brought out memories of dining in Italy. Swordfish rolled in buffalo mozzarella a revelation, brilliant pasta dishes for mains. Highly recommend.

Delicious real Italian food
This restaurant is indeed tiny and you wonder how they manage to provide all their guests with good food from the minuscule kitchen, but they do. The food is delicious, the personnel is Italian so luckily no fake Italian dishes. Service was excellent. It was all good!

This is a lovely place with an authentic Old World feeling and very well-prepared food. The proprietor was accomodating in providing a variation on a menu item (i.e., a different sauce).

A perfect 28 seat restaurant.
A perfect 28 seat restaurant. The food is wonderful: grilled octopus and pastas, each cooked to perfection. The only surprise was that my companion's empty plate was cleared away before I finished eating, unusual for an Italian restaurant: perhaps because the tables are so small? The pour on wines by the glass was generous and served from the bottle, as should be. We're eager to go again.

Thanksgiving sans Turkey
Picked this low drama, local SoHo place for our non-Thanksgiving dinner. It was special. Reservations easy, charming, friendly, price fair, wine good. Only complaint the creme brulee was served cold but was warmed upon request. Pasta special needed a bit of seasoning, some freshly ground black pepper helped. By the time we departed, we were warm and satisfied both inside and out. It's our kind of place, small with quality food and people who care! We'll be back.

Good, fresh, authentic
Everything we had was delicious. The homemade pasta was outstanding (even as leftovers). Service was impeccable and wine list had good selections.
