A fun journey
Great imaginative menu that fantastically executed!

I took my friend for her graduation dinner and got the scallop tasting menu. I didn't really like how they forced everyone to get the same thing, but the food was great. I felt like I was a judge on iron chef and the secret ingredient was scallops. Unfortunately I also felt like the individual courses came out way too fast. Maybe I just didn't really understand the "feasting" concept. A word of advice: you may want to get a few drinks somewhere else before coming here because the drinks list is pretty bland.

I've been to feast 4 times now and it's still impressive. Service is outstanding. Food is amazing each and everytime.

Can't top this place
I was a bit confused from the website/reviews, etc on how Feast worked, but I was pleasantly surprised when the waiter explained it. You pick from between Vegetarian, Seafood, or Pork menus (the whole table must agree) and you get everything on the Feast list in larger-than-a-bite/smaller-than-an-appetizer tastes. Each one uniquely featuring the main ingredient. We had the Pork feast and everything was spectacular. Each plate tasted better than the previous one. It felt never-ending -- truly a feast. I would travel to NYC just to eat here again.

WORTHY TO BE CALLED FEAST
Our group chose the pork category. We had a feast! From appetizers to the main courses, almost all were superb. It is a well-thought out menu and the portions was just enough if not a bit more than I normally would have eaten. It's a good thing that the dessert was not very big.
I like eating in little portions like tapas because you don't get stuck with just one order - usually one main course and one appetizer which fill you up and sometimes hating the food you selected. This way, it gives you a chance to have many different things.
I shall return.

choice of 3 tasting menu. This is an excellent restaurant. The bread is amazing. I loved it !!

Best new fine dining experience!
From the minute our party entered the restaurant you feel like you're walking into a lodge/cabin setting somewhere in a small town. The menu concentrates in 3 categories: vegetarian, seafood or pork. We picked two to share and ordered our drinks. Loved the beer selection! Once the courses started coming one can see why the place is appropriately called "FEAST". So many tasting plates, everyone unique and delicious. The presentations were meticulous and the waitress explained all the dishes and their ingredients respectively. We especially loved the home made bread:-).
If you like trying flavorful new dishes, this is the place! In the end, the meal was delightful and memorable and we'll definitely come back and bring our friends again.

A truly fabulous feast!
Great concept... Delicious food... Definitely go on an empty stomach, because the many small portions add up to a really filling meal. Absolutely loved it! Excellent & attentive wait staff and an awesome ambiance. Can't wait to go back to try the meat & seafood feasts. The market feast truly was exceptional.
6/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
Some of the most imaginative food I've had. And the feast was a perfect sampling of those tastes. We did the seafood feast, but I can't wait to come back and try the vegetarian feast - or maybe a chef's selection. I will definitely be back.
6/23/2013 4:00:00 PM
Definitely a Feast! All the food was excellent, we had the 'Chef's Feast'.
The only thing was that there was perhaps 2 or 3 plates too many! By the time the last couple of dishes came out my husband and I were too full to really enjoy them.
6/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
Feast is a different kind of dining experience, in a very good way. You get to pick from a seasonal menu of meat, seafood or veggies which is served family style. The pork feast was delish, all the food was exceptional. I'm not a big fan of family style tables...always awkward to sit with strangers. Regardless, I look forward to returning.
6/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
We had the Chef''s Feast, which seemed to be the best of everything on the menu. The food was imaginative and well prepared, and served in a foodie friendly (yet not pretentious) way. The portion sizes were definitely tasting sizes and there were 13 "tastes." All in, we had plenty to eat and gave up. The wine list was good, not over-priced, and our waiter offered us an excellent choice. I will definitely go back.

Easy menu options
Bc of the prix fixe like menu options, it makes deciding easy (unless you have differing opinions in your party in which case it would be hard to decide bc you can only select one type). I loved all the items and kind if wishes I could have more but that would be excessive bc that would have been way too much food!!
7/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
Amazing food and presentation! Everyone in my party loved it!

Farm To Table - Indeed!
Feast of amazing menus, tons of food. A must visit. I had the farmer’s market menu with my dining companion. We couldn't even finish the menu it was a total of 9 courses (4 apps) (4 mains) (1 dessert). Just simply an amazing meal.
7/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
Thebfoodnwas imaginative and very good. A little put of by getting four items at each course. Would consider making three courses as could not fit on table and came out too fast. Understand the concept , but fact everyone at table has to have same feat limits ability tango with couples.
Desert disappointing , though obviously not point of meal. Will. Be back, certainly quality and inventiveness of cooking a fair price is worth trying another feast.
7/19/2013 5:00:00 PM
fun and delicious!
Going in, I hadn't known that everyone at the table had to choose the same "Feast" type but fortunately my companions were ok with doing vegetarian along with me. It was delicious and there was so much food. The best part (as it often is) was the AMAZING dessert. The malbec wine was quite good as well. I would love to go back although have to keep in mind that I can't go with my most carniverous friends.

I came with my brother and boyfriend to celebrate my brother's birthday. Feast called to confirm our reservation and asked if we were celebrating anything. I let them know and they welcomed us with a happy birthday and brought out dessert with a candle! We opted for the Chef's feast and it was amazing. 10 plates each plus dessert! Highlights included the filet with quail egg, the pulled pork bbq on fried green tomato, and the bone marrow (one of our personal favorites in general). We left so full that we had to package up some of the items to go and I'm looking forward to eating them this week!! Would go back again when the menus are updated (which seems to be seasonally).
7/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
my boyfriend and i both chose
my boyfriend and i both chose the pork feast and i have to say, it was way more food than i expected (you get EVERYTHING listed on the menu!). my favorite items were the potato gnocchi and the bacon & egg. overall the food was good, but we were not blown away. it would be a fun place to go with a larger group. i would say it's worth the experience, and definitely worth the price.

A Feast Indeed
We had the vegetarian (Farmers Market) menu and were very pleased. Great attention to variety across the tasting menu-- in terms of ingredients, textures, temperatures, flavors. I like my vegetables, but LOVE my proteins, so I was somewhat skeptical going into the meal, but was very pleasantly surprised by both the quality and, in particular, the quantity of food. It was really a LOT of food-- we took home leftovers!
We were there on a Wednesday night. The place was about half-full and pleasantly quiet for the most part-- but there was one party behind us that occasionally got quite loud. I can imagine at full capacity that it could get quite noisy.
Also- service was excellent. Hit the perfect casual/friendly note.
8/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food is just the right amount - you will be full.
The best way to try many things on the menu and great flavours that FEAST delivers.
Fantastic Decor & very clean.
8/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
Truly delicious and creative
Truly delicious and creative food, nice presentation. Had very high expectation and was not disappointed.

There's a reason they call
There's a reason they call it Feast. For the prix-fixe amount they charge, they certainly give you an enormous amount of food. I went here for a birthday celebration & dined on the Farmer's Market menu + side of pork tenderloin. All was impeccable. The dessert (peaches + phyllo dough + ice cream) melted in your mouth. We opted for the wine-pairing option. Granted not that much wine but again for the price, it was reasonable. The service was excellent (Karina I believe was her name). She was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. I look forward to going back but with a larger group so as to enjoy the delicious spread/communal atmosphere more.

You won't leave hungry
Heavily debated, we ultimately opted for the most gluttonous, pig. The food was good, not facemelting. The fantasy I built up in my mind after the NYT review centered a big, nasty platter of MEAT in the middle of the table to be animalistically devoured. Instead arrived a neatly dissected and portioned sampling of different pig "things." The experience felt more like a menu tasting for a dinner party than the bountiful and familial Feast. The same could be said for the service. The staff was appropriate and did what they needed to do to get our food on the table, but not much more. As audacious as offering a wine pairing with as many unrelated bites can be, I was not surprised when it didn't work. I look forward to watching Feast evolve.
8/24/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food and service were amazing! We had the shellfeast and loved every bite. Definitely recommend the "feast" menu- portions are more than ample and you dont have to choose among the wonderful selections. The service was excellent and low key. Can't wait to return!

Dining European style
Service is, by NY standard, good but nothing out of the ordinary. Food is however truly amazing following a concept quickly spreading across Europe with a multiple of preordered dishes (in this case 10-15) on a certain theme. Our pork feast satisfied our gastronomical curiousness as well as our hunger with its well-prepared and, at times, rather innovatory creations.
8/31/2013 12:00:00 AM
Each of the 9 Courses were amazing! Stellar service. Had the vegetarian feast. Can't wait to go back and try the meat & fish feasts!
9/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
It was a dark and stormy night-truly. We had such a great meal of the vegetable menu, it will be remembered as one of those truly great meals. The food was unique and the staff were warm and friendly. Will return when I am able and look forward to it.

It was a feast at Feast! Food
It was a feast at Feast! Food was delicious. Service was attentive. Overall, it was a yummy dining experience.

Feast lives up to its name
At Feast, conversation will never wane. The assortment of wonderful and unique dishes will be the inspiration for tastebud sensations and lively conversation. Each dish was delivered with an explanation of ingredients and preparation which were then discussed and validated after each taste. This made for wonderful conversation. After 8 the bar filled up and the room became lively adding to the whole atmosphere of wonderful food, buzzy chatter. We shared the vegetarian option and two days later the carnivores at the table were still raving.

Charming rustic and quaint
I really liked it... Loved the decor and set menu for brunch
9/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
Perfect for brunch for 2 or more people. Food quality and variety was excellent and worth the cost. Not the sort of dinner menu I'd like, but I would go back for brunch in a second.
9/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
The 8 course meal was balanced, creative , seasonal and very good!!
10/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
This was a really great surprise. First time there and we shared the Pork Feast. Don't be put off by the name of some of the dishes...pork Milanese and Pig Ear taco were life changingly delicious. It truly is a FEAST, so do come hungry!! They portion out dishes to size of your party so you have the opportunity to try everything. Looking forward to going back!!
10/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great food, rushed service
The food was fabulous. The pace of the multiple course meal was super rushed.
10/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great Brunch for a Great Price
You just can't beat the $24 brunch which included a choice of mimosa, bellini, Beery Mary, fresh-squeezed OJ, or bottomless cup of coffee AND basket of yummy carbs, a shot glass of yogurt with fruit & granola topping AND a shot glass of soup. We shared two mains: a tasty squash blossom & goat cheese omlette and a wonderful lemon soufflé pancake! The service was friendly and welcoming--we will be back!!

Review of Feast
The food was wonderful - 9 plate vegtable tasting had plenty of unique and delicious items. I would say only one was less than great. The service felt slightly rushed. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was not that crowded and with that much food we felt slightly rushed. Overall great place, will be back.

Feast On This
Feast has quickly become my favorite spot for special occasions and visitors. The rustic wood and brick decor provides a cozy setting with eye-catching design elements [like the re-purposed hay carrier lamp fixtures]. The menu is a rotating prix fixe selection of 3 Feasts which change with the season. Recently I dined on the Pork Feast. It is no secret that I have a profound love for pretty much all things pork, but the flavor combinations were among the most amazing porcine tastes I have found. Highlights included: bacon & egg [pork belly, grits, quail egg]; pig's ear taco; Berkshire pork Milanese; and chocolate profiterole [w/ bacon brittle sprinkles]. I really want to share this East Village gem with everyone! Reservations recommended.

Presentation is everything!
Our food was delicious and we all had such a great time.
Th way the food was presented was so nice and easy for a large party!!!
Everyone had there own special portion and everyone tried everything.
My only downfall of the meal was the pig ear taco. The consistent envy of the
Ear was not my favorite. Also, the salmon panini didn't taste that fresh. Buy all the other
Foods made up for those two dislikes.
The wine list was great and we had many bottles of red and white. After all 8
Of us ate the bill was very reasonable!! Highly recommend!!!!!

Feast - what a great feast it was
my party of 5 enjoyed the salmon feast, from the opening dish through the dessert, each dish got progressively better with each one being our favorite of the moment.
totally enjoyable eating experience, going back to try the vegetarian feast
10/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
I wasn't that sure about the food but I live in San Francisco and I was super excited to try it. Wow--the chef was amazing and the food was so memorable. I dragged a few friends with me and we talked about it for a few days. Bravo!
thank you for making our trip to NYC so memorable. Bravo to the Chef!

A great find!
This restaurant was recommended by a friend at work and well worth the visit. Great food, good atmosphere and good speed of service. Tables are shared and get noisy but otherwise a great meal.

Feast is great. We loved the getting surprised by all the different courses. All the food was amazing and different. Great night out

Celebration for and of food
Ambitious and creative concept for dining out. Al la carte and set menus that are well curated and presented attractively. Very nice place to go with a group who enjoys food. I choose it for my birthday and was near perfect.

I love this cozy restaurant
I love this cozy restaurant on 3rd Ave, my new favorite place for brunch. The people are all super friendly and attentive, special shoutout for Brian who is always there when I stop in on Saturdays/Sundays.

Had Thanksgiving dinner here. Food was great, flavorful and abundant. Caught the spirit of the unholy holiday with great flavors and great execution from the kitchen. Will go back to explore regular menu.
11/27/2013 4:00:00 PM
My friends and I went for Saturday brunch -- everything was delicious and plentiful. We will definitely go back!
11/29/2013 4:00:00 PM
One of our favorite brunch spots!
We have had brunch at Feast about three times now. For $24 you really do get a feast. We always leave pleasantly full, but not overstuffed. We commented to Brian, who already recognizes and welcomes us as friends, that the balance of sweetness with the soufflé pancake is perfect--apple butter instead of something as sweet as caramel sauce complements the light-as-air texture and subtle lemon flavor of the pancake. $24 includes a Mimosa, Bellini, or juice--as well as 3 small amuse-bouche plus mini croissants, and a mini muffin and several choices of entree such as the soufflé pancake or eggs benedict made with duck confit! Feast has quickly become one of our favorite brunch spots in the area.

A very well thought out, well
A very well thought out, well run restaurant. The food was fresh, clean and cooked with care. The service was great, responsive, professional. I went with a group and it was the perfect venue for the evening. The long table is set up to allow for circulating and interacting with everyone. I definitely recommend Feast for a gathering of friends.
