I loved the Restaurant, but
I loved the Restaurant, but the menu was very limited. For a raw bar it only had oysters to choose from @ 3.00 a oyster (like the fact they were 6 different type to select from). The ceviche was good but it did not come with any side to eat it with. The bread was tasteless and oily. Very limited menu, only 2 salad( they were greens) to chose from and 4 meats. Need to add a bigger selection of seafood. Don't know if I would go back. The service was very good.

Thought the restaurant had
Thought the restaurant had good ambience but probably too large to fill most of the time. Our waiter was very good and helpful with a pleasant way about him. Service was excellent with no long waits? Wine list was good providing a variety of wines, both reasonable and expensive for this type of restaurant. Menu was good but too limited, especially the sides which were not particularly exciting. The potatoes that were not mentioned but recommended by our waiter. Deserts were very good.
The manager would have scored points if he had come by to check on us. He seemed a bit aloof.
Bar seemed to have quite a few young people there.
Glad to see the old Grill Room reoccupied. Restaurant worth a try and hope it succeeds as a seafood restaurant

We are so happy to have this
We are so happy to have this restaurant here in Fort Lauderdale. Our food was delicious, although the oysters and clams could have been more expertly shucked. There was shell in my oysters and my husband had to fight with the clams...Thus, only four stars. The octopus in my main course of scallops, pork belly and octopus was outstanding. As a matter of fact, so was the entire dish! Desserts were delicious, as well...We shall return.

They have a round table,often
They have a round table, often hard to find, which would seat at least 8, maybe 9 or 10 in a pinch. Makes it a nice place for several couples or a girls' night.

Las Olas Dining
I really liked the look the this restaurant. It felt as through you were really underwater.
The onion soup was one of the best I have ever tasted. The wild stripped bass was not that great. It had no flavor
it was pouched and the white looking presentation was not too appealing. The bone in steak was ok. It had a lot of fat
and it did not have much flavor for $ 49.00. The prices were very expensive. Overall it was a nice dining experience and had a good time.

Great food, great experience
Fantastic dining experience. The food was excellent and the service was superb. The nigh we were there, a live musician was playing the saxophone which provided a nice addition to the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Great new addition to Las Olas
The menu choices are limited but they seem to cover the seafood/meat requirements. The grouper was superbly prepared (and we are fish connoisseurs). Their raw oyster selection is also impressive. For a seafood lover, the perfect dinner of oysters on the half-shell and grilled grouper accompanied with a very chilled bottle of Sancerrer.

We dine with low expectations when we use a Living Social and when at a hotel restaurant, but Wild Sea delivered on every count. We started at the bar with a dozen oysters and wines by the glass, 1/2 price Thursday night. THe service in the bar was friendly and professional., as well as in the dining room. We started with the lobster appetizer, which was sweet and firm although there could have been more. The mussels appetizer was outstanding... smoky, creamy sauce. We then shared the swordfish entree and had the deviled eggs and bok choy as sides. All was perfect. The atmosphere was a bit cold for my taste but the food was so delicious we didnt pay much notice. We will be back!

Las Olas Dining
Great food and service with a Manhattan style and feel. I took a friend there for a belated birthday dinner. Our sever was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. We started off with a 1LB Lobster Cocktail. The presentation was beautiful. It is served pre-cracked so there is little work involved to eat it. We also had Grilled Octopus. For entrees, my friend had West Florida Grouper and I had Scottish Salmon. They were both cooked and seasoned to perfection. Excellent wine selection by the glass or bottle. For dessert we shared the Dark Chocolate Crunch; Wow!! I recommend valet parking for $4 (plus tip). Don't forget to have the valet ticket validated inside the restaurant to receive the $4 price. It was a wonderful dining experience.

Great food- service ok-ish
The food was yummy! The gentleman who served us was quite distracted... by other people, staff... we were not his priority.... He tried but it felt like he was responsible for other staff, so would stop what he was doing with us and have a separate conversation/ walk to another table. This was not what we expected, however the food was really good and maybe this was a "one off" - although we did not pay almost $100 per head for a "one off"! With so many other amazing dining options in the area, I would not say that I would run back there, again, not for the food- which was great, but I just dont want to feel like option, I want to feel like a priority.

Better than Expected
I had read a number of reviews in the local media when Wild Sea first opened - The reviews spoke of inconsistent and non-creative food options, and substandard service. Well my wife and I waited a few months to go, and Wild Sea certainly seems to have worked out the kinks. Oysters were fresh and tasty, and all seafood dishes were high quality. Neither my wife or I could finish our entrees due to the sizable portions and side dishes. Service was superior, not just from our server but from every staff/team member who walked by. Pricing was consistent with other restaurants on Las Olas. Overall, a pleasurable evening!

Happy Hour... 4-7( i believe) features1/2 drinks & 1.50 Oysters of the Day(chef's choise, we had Malpeck for 1.50). The drinks were top shelf, mixed by a mixologist, Very classy, neat drinks w/ fresh herbs,(fresh sage leaves as garnish, etc..)PERFECTLY Balanced drinks.. Unique flavors
Dinner was beyond good. Our server Eduard, was top Notch!!! I will admit he got a Little busy at one point, but even then, he provided TOP NOTCH Memorable service. I would return and request him to be my waiter in fact.
Grilled Octopus & 2 Oysters Types as an Appetizers. Grilled Octopus was BEST Oct. I've ever Had!!
Dinner was Stellar. Swordfish with English Peas, Panchetta in Cream Sauce & Grouper with Blackberry & Grilled Peaches.

Nice addition to Las Olas scene
We've been twice now and really enjoyed the opportunity to be seated on the outdoor deck to watch passersby on Las Olas as we dined on excellent seafood and nicely prepared dishes. Initial trip left something to be desired in the service department but on a repeat visit that was remedied as well. All is good here.

Had a great meal fit for foodies. Totally new menu as compared to what's online.
Swordfish was prepared perfectly on top of hearty pea, bacon combination requires a returning trip. Several other fish and shell fish items have overcome Sun Sentinel's menu limitation concerns. Other noteworthy items were Burrata, Chicken main course and wonderful scallops and clam dish.

Excellent Seafood @ Riverside Hotel
Enjoyable dining experience from start-to-finish. Unique
drinks, huge seafood starters, nice entree menu
selection & mouthwatering key lime pie with a cheesecake
feel-delish! Ask for a table served by Brian, a gem of a waiter. ;-)

Food to die for !
We went with a little trepidation since this place got mixed reviews due to service and the original chef no longer there..but it was AWESOME!
The mussles order as an appetizer could serve one person as a FULL dinner..It was as good as what we had in Belgium a few months ago !! I had the grouper and it was on the smallish side ,but the taste was divine and the parings of the blueberries was a total change and delish! The SWORDFISH, on the other hand, was HUGE and incredible. It came in a cream sauce with bacon and fresh just barely cooked peas...OMG fantastic !! we also has the side veggie of corn and squash in a cream sauce. Dessert was the chocolate salt bar..INCREDIBLE !! GO GO GO..we will be back !!
Great waiter was Christian !!

New Seafood Restaurant
Along the famed Las Olas strip. Inside the Riverside Hotel. Great seafood. Had the mussels appetizer in a very savory broth. Had to dip the crusted bread into it to soak up the broth. Had the Grouper which was fresh and prepared superbly. The restaurant does not disappoint. So if you are going to Las Olas, give it a try.

Tasty appetizers( our server recommended the mussels & grilled octopus, they were both outrageously delicious).
Fish Entrees were all fresh and flavorful . Signature swordfish dish was another great recommendation from Edward, our very knowledgable and professional server. We will dine here again.

good sea food and terrific drinks
this is our second visit to wild sea...the food is really special. the wait staff did not appreciate the menu nor really understand it, but the food is reasonably priced while it is exceptionally well prepared. it's a good restaurant for a special occasion as well as before dinner dining but it is simply decorated. however, we've had a good time both visits and our friends enjoyed it as well.
