Perhaps the best Italian food you can get for your money in the Times Square area.

What a find!!
I do not understand any of the negatives on Nino's. The fried pumpkin and asparagus wrapped wrapped in prosciutto were excellent. The sea bass was cooked to perfection in the most excellent vanilla sauce and surrounded by the tiniest, tastiest clams, served over a risotto cake. My wife's individual pizza was not only spectacular looking, but very delicious. My son's hangar steak was also cooked to perfection. The manager(?) visited our table frequently to ask about food quality and service. There was relatively no noise on our visit, and every table was occupied. Our only negatives: water served without ice; we had to keep asking for ice. Restaurant also on the warm side; AC needs to be cranked up. This will not stop us from returning.

good italian place
the food was excellent, and the place was very nice inside. We tried the bruschettas, lasagna, seabass, and it was all excellent. Service was very good as well.

Nino's 46 great pizza
My family and I went to Nino's while staying on vacation on the Big Apple. The staff was very attentive, with a a concise and timely service. About the food I can tell you that the pizza was great, we tried some of the pasta and it was delicious, but the star to the table was the pizza. For dessert we tried a lemon cake with ricotta cheese, strawberries and fresh basil it was magnificent.

A great find
It was my first time to Nino's 46 but I have already recommended it to several people. The food is very fresh and quite delicious. Don't miss the pizza while you are there, we had the one with fresh burrata and roasted zucchini and a crispy but chewy crust. The ceasar salad was also "authentic" with the right mix for the dressing (you could taste the saltiness of the anchovies.

Very pleasantly surprised
Nino's 46 was terrific. Great menu with good variation of choices, from light to hearty. Caesar salad was very tasty, along with the personal pizza with summer squash and burrata cheese. My co-diner had shrimp parmesan, which was a huge portion and very good. Great neighborhood gem!

Food was delicious. Service
Food was delicious. Service great. Suprisingly good quality for what seemed like a quick lunch spot. Ambience leaves a little to be desired and its confusing when you walk in if its take out or a nice sit down place. But once you are in it's well worth it and good value.

Very Pleasant Dinner
Overall, our party of 6 had a very nice of evening before seeing a show. The pizzas and pastas were quite delicious. The pizzas were cooked to order and they were very accommodating to personalization of the dishes. Everything was fairly affordable and definitely worth a visit if you want a nice, tasty dinner.

Surprisingly Good Food
Surprisingly good food and great service. Very limited wine list with some decent wines by the glass. Very casual - really a bar with food, but the food rivals most high-priced Italian restaurants. Very friendly and attentive service. Bar stools and banquettes are really uncomfortable - best to stick to chairs.

Not the most exciting of venues
Not the most exciting of venues and the construction outside didn't help (but this is NY and so you just cope.) The food was excellent, however. The gnudi was superb and the nutella bread pudding was heart-stoppingly decadent. An overall lovely experience that doesn't break the bank.

Quiet Break from Rockefeller Center
This place is an excellent restaurant to take a break from Rockefeller Center (a few blocks away) that offered a good wine list and outstanding dishes. I was looking for a place to sit down, enjoy a glass of wine, and have a nice lunch...Nino's 46 provided me all of that. The waiter was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about all items on the menu and wine list. We'll visit again on our next trip to Manhattan.

Great Italian Dishes
This place futures basic Italian dishes that well executed and innovative. For starters, we had the charred octopus--which was outstanding--and the burrata, which was also very good. The octopus itself was grilled to perfection and the sauce and relish that came with it enhanced the flavors. The burrata came with an excellent fig jam. We had the Gnudi and Orecchiette for the main course. The Gnudi was outstanding--not like anything I've had before; the Orechiette with pesto and chicken was very good as well, but it was a tad oily. For dessert, the panna cotta with strawberries was light, refreshing, and quite interesting.

Wonderful restaurant with a great location close to Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza. Service was fantastic....only to be outdone by the delicious Wood-oven pizza. Definitely will return!
