Helpful, not overbearing
The server was kind and helpful and assisted us while having a lot of fun with us; we enjoyed our first experience here & will likely be back!

Great waitress who recommended the Spinach salad which was outstanding. Prompt, courteous service. Looks like a great meeting space too

I took my boyfriend, who loves libraries, here for his birthday - the wait staff was excellent. Upon request they played our song, and were willing to attach a candle to the dessert we ordered. This was an absolutely phenomenal experience with excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere for book lovers, and I will definitely be returning.

A good experience
Took my wife and daughter to Library Bistro for Mother's Day Brunch. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, the service was excellent, and the bloody mary's were superb. My only complaint is the food took a while to get served but the staff kept us in mimosa and coffee.

Enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day brunch here. I didn't realize the restaurant was located in a hotel when making our reservation through Open Table. But I'm so glad we dined here. The ambience was lovely, and the Sunday brunch menu options were fabulous. We all loved our meals. Service was attentive, but I gave it a lower rating because it took quite awhile for our meals to be served. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our brunch here and I'd happily return again!

A very nice, quietly elegant
A very nice, quietly elegant space, decorated like someone's private library. Some thoughtfully different things on the brunch menu, such as a jam made of bacon and creme fraiche served on an English muffin.

The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. It was a Monday lunch with friends from Australia whom I hadn't seen in 2 years. We had a 12:30 reservation and stayed talking until 5:00! The waitstaff graciously let us stay long past closing time, with never a hint that we should leave. They even left the lights on in our section, while turning them off in the rest of the restaurant. Their thoughtfulness was much appreciated!

Great for breakfast and lunch
Food, service, and ambiance are great. Cocktails were surprisingly well prepared. Will definitely be back for breakfast and lunch for business or pleasure.

This was an excellent location for brunch prior to attending a Seahawks game. It's a little further away from the stadium than some of the other restaurants but is still an easy walk to the game. The service was good and the food was good.

I had thought it would be busier. I really like the space. The food was wonderful, the service was terrific. It was not crowded at all, and that surprised me.

There are several thoughtfully inventive items on the menu. Our discovery this visit: try the granola! Made with "spent grains" from the Pike Place Brewery, it's really nicely flavored.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Excellent wild mushroom crepes as well as the breakfast bread pudding.

Cozy spot for a family brunch
Located in the upscale Alexis Hotel, The Library Bistro provided a wonderful spot for my party of 6 to have Father's Day brunch. It's large enough to accomodate groups, and I loved the decor of feeling like you're nestled amongst someone's extensive library of books. Normally I go for a louder, more vibrant brunch place with friends; but this restaurant was perfectly suited for a family outing because the atmosphere was more conducive to talking (instead of shouting) and catching up. We did run into one hiccup--the kitchen forgot to make my latte--but the server eventually realized the issue. She thanked me for waiting and said it would be complimentary. I would say the food was not life-changing, but everyone did enjoy their meal.

Quiet and Comfortable
We had breakfast at the Library Bistro before a Seahawks game. There were several other diners going to the game as well. The food was well prepared and presented. Portions were average size. Don't expect an "all you can eat" buffet experience. The service was excellent. The real gem here is the atmosphere. Quiet and very comfortable. It feels more like a home than a restaurant. We are planning to go back for a romantic dinner. Highly recommended.
