Cafe De La Banque
Even if you have decided to stay away from the commotion of Montreal, this place is also a parking challenge. The outdoor terrasse was very lively with good distances separating the tables. A crowd of italian families tells you that the Chef follows high-standards. The veal meat balls (Polpette) are tasty and well prepared. The scalopini with its mushroom sauce is onctuous and tender. The Titamisu's presentation is original with its 3 little spheres. The wine list is limited but the Farnito was impeccable.
The music was way too loud but the staff was kind enough to accomodate our request to lower the sound level.
Overall, very good italian food and great atmosphere although the "new italian" advertised may be a bit misleading.
