We had a terrific Sunday brunch! Eggs Benedict was perfect as was the Tex-Mex Skillet. The outdoor patio was shaded and very comfortable for dining. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We've enjoyed this restaurant Many times, we made these reservations because it was Father's Day. I had the shrimp bake & my husband had the mixed grill. Both were wonderful!!!

What a gem.
What a gem Gourmet Gourmet is. After stopping in for their Sunday brunch, which is apparently is what they are famous for, we decided to return later that week for dinner. All I can say is that both meals were a gastronomic trip. Fantastic food, including some European delicacies that you don't often find, like Croque Madam and foie gras. A well chosen wine list that was very well priced as well. We had the same server both times, one of the owners even. Funny and engaging, she delivered an experience to go along with our food. This will be our first stop each time we visit the island.

Delightful little spot for brunch
The patio is a place of serenity where you can enjoy a gourmet brunch with warm friendly service. A couple of highlights, they actually use real Canadian bacon on their eggs Benedict, not the slice of ham that most places try to pass off as Canadian bacon. The server told me they get it shipped packed in dry ice direct from Canada. The other highlight was the Bloody Mary. Probably the best I've ever had. Going to make this a regular spot.

Been eating here for years. New ownership [Bill] and still very good. For lunch had the Rare Roast Beef on Pretzel Roll with Boursin cheese. Wife had Mozarella Baguette and boys had the Italian. Lastly Baklava. All Deelish. Finished with Attentive service even though it was busy. Looking forward to putting this on my evening radar for dinner.

We had a wonderful dinner with friends at Gourmet Gourmet. Everyone had at seafood (Grouper, Salmon and Mussels) dish, which were all beautifully prepared. We would definitely go back!! Great new chef!!

Best "new" find on the island. The new chef did an awesome job. Scallops and lobster were poked to perfection.

OWNERS & CHEF ON THE SAME PAGE
It is nice to dine at a place where the owners and the chef are on the same page. They complement each other by communicating menu desires with capabilities of the chef. Owners Bill and Yamilka Merten and Chef Zach Raszkin are definitely on the same page. No matter if it is an appetizer, small plate, large plate, salad, dessert or "special," you won't be disappointed. I love going to this restaurant with a group and taste testing everyone's choices. Honestly, I have never had anything bad there. Give it a try. Jeanne Wyatt

Chef quit that day
The two of us had a reservation and were seated immediately at a table with a lit candle in a cozy corner. The service was immediate, cheery, and attentive. We were informed that the head chef had quit earlier in the day, but the timing of the food and service only barely showed it. The food itself was phenomenal and their attention to our needs was gentle and well-paced. Near the end of the night, Bill came out and got our feedback and gave another apology, though we didn't feel the need.
The creme brulee cheesecake was unreal and cannot be missed.

Wonderful as always
Another wonderful experience. A foodies paradise in elegant yet casual surroundings.
I had the lamb osso buco special, which was braised to perfection. My wife had the chicken marsalla, which is really to die for. Needing a wine to pair with two such different dishes our server suggested the night's feature red, the Gavilan pinot noir, a Californian wine, done in the Burgundian style. It was perfect and truly did taste like a French Burgundy that would have cost much much more.
The service as always was friendly and attentive. It seems like they really want to get to know you. The servers seem to be just as engaged with first time guests as they are with old regulars like us.
Thanks again for another wonderful and affordable dinner.
