DUO features an elaborate private dining area illuminated by a stunning crystal chandelier centerpiece. Though the space is open during regular dining hours and available for seating by the general public, the room can be sectioned off for events and parties by utilizing sliding pocket doors to make the space private and cozy. A beautiful fireplace on the back wall creates an intimate dining experience, while detailed hand-painted walls of chocolate brown with black swirls accentuate DUO's luxurious look and feel. An extensive wine closet is tucked in the back corner, and a large flat screen television is perched above the fireplace mantle, available for those having private parties to display photos, video, or conference meeting. Plush mohair chairs make your dining experience a comfortable one, while the shiny snakeskin pattern on the back of the chairs keep the glam feeling alive.

DUO Restaurant & Lounge is the brainchild of two adventurous and entrepreneurial sisters, who know a thing or two about working in the restaurant industry. Stemming from a family of restaurateurs, sisters Lorraine and Sabina Belkin embark on their first ever self-owned and operated restaurant. Everything from the hand placed Swarovski crystals on the walls to the never before seen in New York illuminated menus featuring their contemporary American cuisine, is a result of the endless creativity that the inseparable Belkin sisters possess. Located in a neighborhood that has recently seen an influx of notable restaurants and deemed by many as "NoMad," DUO is slated for an early June opening and will feature a variety of show stopping contemporary American dishes.
