The 1930's style Hi-Life Restaurant & Lounge has been one of NYC’s most loved neighborhood restaurants since 1991. Our party planners will help you to customize the space and menu to suit your occasion and budget, for groups of 12-200. New York Magazine says "Downtown goes Uptown ... a great place to throw a party".
The Hi-Life Restaurant & Lounge space works well for a variety of party styles: cocktails & hors d'oeuvres, buffet dinner or brunch, and sit-down dinners. Our space can be reserved exclusively or divided appropriatly with private and semi-private spaces for a variety of group sizes, from 12-200.
Hi-Life's menu includes the "classics" such as: sliced Sirloin, Linguini Fra Diablo, Pasta Primavera, Clams Casino, Shrimp Cocktail, broiled California King Salmon and Lemon Chicken in white wine ... as well as the eclectic, such as: Morrocan Lamb Ka-bobs, traditional Pad Thai Noodles, steamed Shrimp Shumai, and expertly prepared Sushi & Sashimi from our Sushi/Raw Bar.
- The Restaurant Writes...
In addition to being the venue for countless Private Parties and Special Events, Hi-Life's award-winning 1930's decor, and casually elegant atmosphere has been the back-drop for numerous fashion shoots, movie scenes and television shows. (Including the 1998 film "Hi-Life" starring Eric Stolz and Darryl Hannah.)
Hi-Life's diverse menu and extensive booth and banquette seating make us a great choice for groups and parties of 10-200! Whether for a sit-down Dinner Party of 10, a Buffet Brunch, or Cocktail Party with passed hors d'oeuvres for 200, Hi-Life will customize a package that suits your needs and budget.
