Heartland offers two private dining rooms for special events. One room seats a maximum of 80 guests while the other can accommodate up to 160. The rooms may be booked separately or in conjunction. Menus are custom designed to suit budgets, personal preferences, seasonal availability of local product and any special dietary concerns or constraints. A $1500 food & beverage minimum is required to book a private room. If both rooms are requested, the minimum is $6000. Tax and gratuity are additional. No deposit is required, but a credit card is needed to guarantee the minimum and act a as damage deposit. There is no penalty for cancellation provided it occurs prior to 30 days of the event. Heartland Restaurant features North American Midwest Regional Cuisine that employs indigenous and cultivated ingredients from the American and Canadian Midwest to create a nightly changing menu that features two fixed price menus along with extensive a la carte selections. The sources for these ingredients are small family farms and artisan producers who practice traditional and sustainable agriculture. Chef Lenny Russo is a 2010, 2011 and 2012 James Beard Foundation Best Chef Midwest Nominee.
