Roy’s is located downtown, immediately adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center, Marriott Marquis and Manchester Grand Hyatt, and within walking distance of nearly all of Downtown San Diego’s major hotels and attractions. Situated on the boardwalk, Roy’s looks out over the Marriott Boat Marina and San Diego Bay.
Known around the world for Chef Roy Yamaguchi’s signature Pacific Rim Cuisine, Roy’s combines the freshest local ingredients with European sauces and bold Asian spices for a unique culinary experience. Misoyaki Butterfish, Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi and Hawaii Kai Style Short Ribs are just a few of Chef Roy’s signature dishes available for group and individual dining.
Private dining is available in the marina-view Big Island Room, on the marina-side Lanai Patio and for restaurant buy-outs. Semi-private seating is available for groups of 12-40 at our Upper Lanai Fire Pit, and inside in our two-story atrium Wine Bar.

The Downtown San Diego restaurant is located on the water at the Marriott Hotel and Marina and features a dining room overlooking the marina, or patio dining just steps from the water.
