Over 20 years ago Rick and Ann Yoder embarked on a trip throughout Asia. They returned to Seattle inspired to create a restaurant modeled after their experiences with the incredible food and culture of the Eastern world. In 1989 they created Wild Ginger and the result was a tremendous success. This pillar of Asian dining quickly became one of the most popular restaurants in the northwest and a true Seattle original.
At Wild Ginger, our facilities have their own personality and style. We offer a range of versatile options, from small private dining rooms to reception and seated event space.
- The Restaurant Writes...
The food at Wild Ginger spans the Pacific Rim from China to Indonesia. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, and our pungent oyster sauce all from scratch. To achieve the sublime flavors of the East, there is no substitute for the time-honored customs of these rich and ancient cultures.
