The Heathman Restaurant & Bar’s Catering Department is a full service, on & off-premise caterer. We pair traditional French culinary practices with northwest ingredients to make any event memorable. Most of our private rooms have windows overlooking Broadway, downtown Portland’s main thoroughfare, and other rooms have hardwood floors and a built-in, marble top bar. We offer limited choice menus for groups up to 100 and can accommodate meetings of varying sizes (classroom up to 70 and crescent rounds up to 49) and social receptions for up to 400 guests. Our creativity and custom menus allows us to meet any need. Our banquet menus change with the season and have an extensive wine list, managed by our in-house Sommelier. Complimentary wireless internet is available, as well as wired (additional charges may apply). Our full-time, dedicated banquet team will ensure all needs are met and expectations are exceeded. We are also the Exclusive Caterer for the Oregon Historical Society.

The Heathman Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Portland and in the midst of the city’s theatre district.
Executive Chef Michael Stanton uses the very best in seafood, steaks, game, and more: from line caught salmon to organically raised lamb….from heirloom tomatoes to the best berries and fruit available in the Willamette Valley. The Heathman Restaurant takes advantage of local bay shrimp and Oregon razor clams when they are at the peak of season, they use mushrooms unearthed and brought to the kitchen early each morning. The menu aspires to be a constant expression of the vast diversity of ingredients that Oregon has to offer.
The extensive and award winning wine list showcases the best of the Willamette Valley, Southern Oregon, Washington and the rest of the Pacific North West, as well as some of the best wines of Burgundy, Bordeaux, and all the classic New and Old World wine regions.
