Sontes offers four private dining options:
The Orchid Room: A separate curtained room with a spectacular view of the Plummer Building and the downtown Rochester. This room accommodates 10-12 comfortably. There is no minimum purchase requirement. Please call in advance to reserve the room.
The Gallery: holds up to 45 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 60 for a cocktail-style event. Combine with Tessa's Office (see below) for a larger cocktail event. A contract may be required for this room. Minimum purchase: Monday-Thursday, $500; Friday and Saturday, $1,000.
Tessa's Office: Our ultra-private wine tasting room. This lower-level room holds up to 25 for sit-down or cocktail-style events. A contract may be required for this room. Minimum purchase: $400
The Wine Vault: Formerly a bank vault. This room now houses Sontes wine collection and can accommodate 6 people; perfect for an intimate party, confidential business or romantic evening. Minimum purchase: $50/person.

Relax and take your time sampling our seasonally spontaneous food and extensive selection of wines and beers. We support local farmers and artisans, ensuring that we serve the freshest produce, meats and cheeses possible. Our stunning bar boasts 40 wines by the glass, served from a temperature-controlled cuvee system, and more than 100 wines by the bottle. We are here to make you feel at home, so sit back and lounge near our fireplace, belly up to the bar, or enjoy a leisurely evening in our dining room. Make a reservation by 4:00 on the day you plan to join us and receive a special treat from the chef!
