Originally founded in 1874, The Farmers Union, a growers cooperative, bank and purveyor of all things for the home, farm and ranch, was located in the same building as The Farmers Union restaurant is today. The foundation of the great agricultural center known as the “Valley of Heart’s Delight,” the union farmers were instrumental in growing the city of San Jose, helping to launch the great metropolitan area now known as Silicon Valley. Keeping true to its farming roots, The Farmers Union offers seasonal, locally sourced food in an elegantly rustic environment, sure to please you and your guests for lunch, dinner or a cocktail reception. We offer private dining options for both small and large groups, up to 75 guests.
