Situated comfortably in the renovated Dallas Power & Light building across from the famous Nieman Marcus department store downtown, Fuse has hit Dallas like a lightning bolt with its unique combination of sleek industrial decor with touches of Asian design. Concrete floors and metal chairs mix seamlessly with an impressive bamboo water garden. Most of the restaurant's seating is outdoors where sophisticated 20- and 30-something Dallas foodies devour executive chef Blaine Staniford's unique Tex-Asian culinary creations. Favorites include the braised brisket pot stickers, grilled ahi tuna with white corn relish and avocado puree, the five-spice duck breast and the roasted cashew chicken. The blood-red themed bar is a nice place to gather for drinks or wait for a table. This hip, new spot is well worth the trip downtown for the latest in concept fusion dining.
