"Tradition, ambience, excellent food and service, service, service! My wife and I chose The Derby to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and I've told the story of the "little half-booth by the fireplace" and the "best service we've ever had" many times. We've since moved away but for our 20th anniversary, I surprised my wife with a quick trip to Arcadia for dinner at The Derby. Imagine our delight when we recognized, and were again served by, the same waiter who had served us 20 years before. The menu is fine steak-house fare and the food well prepared. The setting is relaxed elegance. The history and tradition are unique, but it is the service of the experienced staff at The Derby that make this a dining experience worth having."

"THE STEAKS WAS VERY, VERY GOOD. OUR WAITER,WILLIAM, CONDUCTED EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE MENU AND WINE LIST. THE KANSASA CITY CUT WAS TRUELY A HUGE PEICE OF DELIOUS MEAT!!! MY WIFE AND I ENJOYED OUR WEDDING ANNIVERESARY DINNER IN SUCH AN INTIMATE SETTING."
