Great for pre theater. I liked having the prix fix option. Great service and process not bad for the area. A bit loud but it is midtown.

I'm not sure what happened, but the food was not good. I have dined here several times and given high ratings, but something was really off on this visit. The pre-theatre deal was wonky. The salmon was a bit fishy, the couscous with corn was not pleasing and the warm chocolate cake was mush! I had to send it back and it came out the same way... mush. I asked the waitress, L, for something else, and she refused. What was good? The drinks were outstanding. Unfortunately, I will not be dining here again. Very disappointed.

Convenient for going to a show and they serve quickly knowing everyone has a 7pm show to catch. But very mediocre food. Service was professional

Liked the buzz, but for some people it might be loud. Staff were excellent. The Italian gentleman with white hair working the upstairs was great. The food - i had the Branzino special and it was delicious. My bf had the duck and it was surprisingly ill-prepared. Sauce was nothing special; completely overcooked, making it like shoe leather, and sliced way too thick, adding to the toughness. Very disappointing. As for value, I think it's on the high-priced side, especially when there is a big miss on a main course (which i didn't learn about until after my guest graciously ate his dinner). The prices are not modest when you spend $200 for 2 people who shared an app and dessert at a "tavern", albeit a very nice one. BUT, we stll did enjoy ourselves; the ROI was just a bit off, and the duck.Fortunately, great staff still made it a nice dinner: Two women at the front desk (530pm on 6/25); as mentioned, our waiter who picked a nice Chardonnay and was just very pleasant; and the cleanup/water staff - right there, hustling!

The Beet Salad and Cheese Tortellini appetizers were very good. Very generous on the salad but only four tortellinis on the other dish. The salmon was also very good. Ordered it medium and there were some parts that were on the crate side. Very generous portion. The Duck Breast portion was also very generous but sliced too think. Was a tad on the chewy side but overall good. Cocktails were top notch.

Location if you're going to a show is fantastic. We went for Sunday Brunch and it was a bit expensive for what you got but the quality of the food was great. I had the avocado toast and it was delicious. My friend had the french toast and berries and there were scant berries.
