  • Just as gloom settles over the Financial District, ONDA Restaurant opens its doors, offering the neighborhood an electric Latin refuge. ONDA, the Spanish word for “vibe,” is a Latin restaurant in the Financial District of NY City. A unique experience for the neighborhood, every detail at ONDA is designed to be comforting, flavorful, colorful and fun – incorporating the best of Latin culture and cuisine.
    Contemporary Latin cuisine by Chef Mohan dances on the late to the music of artisanal Latin cocktails and wines that pair perfectly with the dishes. Separated into share plates and entrees, Mohan interprets the ingredients, flavors and dishes of many Latin countries, including Peru, Brazil, Guyana, Jamaica, Ecuador, Cuba, the West Indies, Spain and more. Light fixtures constructed of colored wine glasses and bottles illuminate the vivid colors and textures throughout the dining room and bar. Water-like lacquered surfaces accent red distressed wood cabinets and Spanish tiling.
