Our lunch was absolutely stellar at Sierra Mar. The caviar service is perfection and the garden to table food is fantastic! If you find yourself in Big Sur, be sure to book a meal. Absolutely Michelin worthy.

Found when I arrived that because I am not a registered guest at their property, I was not provided the opportunity to order from the regular Dining menu, only a tasting menu was provided and no choices, no options were allowed. You get what they decide to give you for $185/seat. Ruined our anniversary dinner experience; felt we were treated as a tier below the registered guests. Unless you are a guest, I wouldn't bother.

Our 5th time at Sierra Mar since opening to the public for lunch after Covid and, as always, it was great! We went to far by ordering the cheese plate to start as the prix fix lunch is more than enough (but the cheese plate was yummy; ending up taking the coconut dessert hom).

We had a magical experience at Sierra Mar. The setting is amazing obviously but the food and service were equally impressive. The vegetables and herbs came from the Post Ranch garden and were exquisitely utilized. The service was casual but knowledgeable and welcoming. Bottom line, its a great restaurant and we can't wait to return!

We had dinner at Sierra Mar several months ago, perfection! So we were looking forward to having lunch. The ambience, the view, the service was again perfection. The food was all delicious but we think it was a bit heavy for lunch. Loved the salads from the garden. The entrees with potatoes and veggies were yummy but a lot of food. It would be nice to have a lighter entree choice also. The coconut panna cotta was yummy, a lovely way to end the meal.

We had an incredible night here for our anniversary. The ambiance and views are exceptional. We were truly blown away. The food is also excellent. We want to especially thank our waiter, Hugo.
