About this restaurant

In Philadelphia, the taste and tradition of Italy is brought to guests of Brigantessa from the pizza masters of Napoli to the seafood-centric Puglia. The center of the restaurant is a large brick oven created by Italian craftsmen and from which nearly all the dishes at Brigantessa are cooked. The welcoming servers, the warm atmosphere and the unpretentious food create an excellent dining experience.



The pizza Napolitano, created in 1889, made of basil, tomato and fresh mozzarella is representative of the red, white and green Italian flag. Brigantessa creates the pizza Napolitano with the same precision and affection for pizza greatness as those Italian ancestors who created it. Other menu items include antipasti, and two course options such as gnocchi or lasagna with braised goat or grilled swordfish.
