Banquet Facilities: After eight years of building Mediterrano into one of Ann Arbor’s premiere restaurants, John Roumanis decided to open La Piázza, a private banquet space that combines the creative, flavorful food Mediterrano is famous for in an elegant, yet tasteful atmosphere. La Piázza gets its style from classic Italy but its ambiance from the casual culture of Ann Arbor. It’s a place where everyone will feel comfortable. The goal is to present you with two beautiful rooms that can accommodate both smaller and larger groups, but where you are in absolute control. Whether you are hosting a board retreat, a breakfast office meeting, a wedding shower, watching an athletic event on our projection television, or conducting private interviews, the rooms in La Piázza will make any event special. La Piazza has hosted an array of International Events including the International papyrology Conference and the 9th International Interim Conference on Plastination.
Private Party Facilities: La Piazza's Board Room accommodates up to 25 guests. This is the perfect room for birthday parties, office meetings and private interviews. The Pomegranate Room will hold an additional 80 people allowing for a maximum capacity of 100 guests. This breathtaking room is perfect for Rehearsal Dinners, Intimate Wedding, and Family Reunions. As a full service coordinator, Mediterrano can assist with all aspects of your event, from the colors of the linen to the pairings of wine with your entree selections.
