"I can't say enough about the Spruce service and their burger. We went on a Monday night for my birthday. I was immediately greeted and made to feel welcome by Charles, there was a cute birthday card waiting for me at the table, and I'd say we had the best table in the place. Our server was gracious, the food was delectable. My girlfriend and I had the burger and fries (the fries are amazing), and my girlfriend's husband has the cod (if memory serves), which he thought was good but slightly overcooked. If you have room for dessert, I would recommend the beignets. Will definitely go back to Spruce!"

"From the moment you enter, the interior decorator has given you a heads up that you are in for a treat. Tall, dark, elegant decor, comfortable seating and a library ladder for the infinite wine list. The staff immediately trumps the decor by cementing a royal ambiance. You are greeted respectfully and attentively. This quickly is followed by an amuse bouche that does exactly its job and a knowledgeable sommelier who pairs perfectly with the thoughtfully suggestive wait staff. Then the food comes... each bite is delicate, deliberate and just what you ordered, more than you dreamed of. With large portions for dinner and starter I had no room for my own dessert but happily nibbled on a few of my dining partners choices. Simply Superb."

"We had the Dine-About-Town menu..."ok", nothing about the Parsnip soup or Risotto was more than good...certainly not up to the reviews this restaurant usually attracts. A nice, comfortable setting...i would go back to the bar for cocktails."
