Park Avenue Winter

writes...
  • Like a brisk and chilly breeze from the North, Park Avenue Winter returns to 100 East 63rd Street in Manhattan.
Over forty-eight hours, the restaurant was completely transformed from Park Avenue Autumn to a completely new décor, featuring icy Winter white with silver accents.
Chef Craig Koketsu (Quality Meats) created the refined, robust winter-inspired menu with contemporary classic dishes, such as Lemon Roasted Chicken, Organic Scottish Salmon with Citron and Ginger, and Filet Mignon with Braised Short Rib and Root Vegetables. The menu's focus evolved from showcasing autumn's harvest to revealing the best winter flavors.
Executive pastry chef Richard Leach developed a selection of stunning dessert presentations, highlighting winter fruits and chocolate. For Park Avenue Winter, Leach’s dessert selections include Winter Spice Cake with Brown Butter Ice Cream, Caramelized Apple and Cranberry, and Chocolate Flourless Cake with Peanut Brittle Mascarpone.
