   The Pilothouse Restaurant is one of our family favorites. The food, mostly seafood, but with a good variety, is good and the ambiance is lovely. The views of Old Sac and the River are nice. We went with a group of 8 for Mother's Day and to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The restaurant was not a crowded as I would have expected on Mother's Day. I had the salmon because it was served over a risotto that looked really good, and I was right. The salmon itself was fine, well-cooked but nothing special. The risotto was Delicious!! It had chunks of spicy sausage and little crayfish in it. My husband had a ribeye and ate every bite. Everyone liked their food. The service was pretty good, though our server disappeared towards the end of the meal and we had to flag someone down to get water refills and our check. We were not offered a dessert menu, though I don't know if we would have ordered dessert anyway. Overall it was a delicious and enjoyable meal.

   As always, our dining experience at the Delta King was excellent. White staff was very attentive. We were seated at our table quickly and enjoyed our food. My daughter and I will always go back to this restaurant. It was a little noisy at first but settled down quickly.

   Sadly friends have raved but it was a disappointment. he Sunday brunch wasn't brunch it was just limited breakfast menu. several parties left My husbands croquet was awful, had too much bread and sauce was bland My eggs Benedict was ok. ambiance was lovely but.....

   The food was excellent and very tasty, but the service and pacing was very slow to the point we missed our show. We allowed almost two hours for dinner.

   We dined outside with a lovely view of the Sacramento River. We have dined here before and the food is consistently good, but not noteworthy. It could be that we had a waitress still learning her craft or that they were short staffed to account for the subpar service.

   Took spouse to the Delta King for a 50th birthday...She loved it. Old steamboat paddle wheeler. What and experience!!! She now says it's her favorite restaurant in Northern California. So looks like we will be dinning there again very soon!

   Very unique. Great bar, drinks, menu, meal. Service a little spotty, disjointed , 2 servers without clear communication. Would go again for the novelty.

   The only issue we had was at the end of our dinner, we ordered desert that took nearly another 40 min to be served to us which was removed from the final bill. Other than that, we would most definitely recommend in future.

    Food and location is great. Very nice boat. Bartender was overwhelmed, waiter was complaining about how over worked he was. Over nine times I heard him tell us or other people how he’s “so overwhelmed”. Dinner was almost $300, I don’t need to hear about the waiters stress. I came here because I wanna unwind.
