Perhaps time will tell - but it seems Reserve is trying too hard to be a swank steak house. The 'door men' out front are a little much for the neighborhood especially when the crowd, service, and food do not merit such. The young staff of newbies from the girl seating us to our waiter, all were definitely new. The place smelled of smoke at entrance due to the cigar lounge in back. Food was very salty. The acoustics of the building make conversation challenging along with the predictable music.

We enjoyed a nice Easter brunch at Reserve recently. Location was great for us as tourists. The menu was well priced and the food was great. We dined with our small children, and while it seemed fine to have them in the restaurant for brunch, they did not have a children's menu. No worries, an order of pancakes for one and a dish of delicious Mac n cheese for the other did the trick. Overall, we certainly enjoyed our experience at Reserve.

The service was excellent our server was PJ she was awesome! The manager stopped by our table several times to see that we enjoyed our meal. We went there for our Anniversary and would recommend for any occasion!!

The entrees (3 had steaks, 1 had Sea Bass) were excellent. Two appetizers stood out - the calamari was delicately breaded and excellent, and the beef carpaccio was outstanding. The dining room was not quite full, but the place is relatively new, and hasn't caught on yet. It's basically a fine steakhouse, but with a cool location, decor and ambience. It also looks like a great spot for drinks and appetizers - nice bar. I'd go back with friends.

Outstanding! On a recommendation we tried Reserve and were blown away. One of the best steaks I've had anywhere. Our waiter, Tony, was great. The bar area was vibrant and the bartenders were attentive and their specialty drinks were very good. We will be going back soon and will be recommending Reserve to anyone who is looking for an incredible steak and fantastic service.

Overall, a very good dinner. The decor was old men's club luxuriant. Flat screens inconspicuous in bar area. Booths were large.
It was nieces bday dinner & staff was outstanding, made her feel like the center of the universe all night.
Food was great at times, & very good at a minimum.
We had seafood sampler, incl. raw clams and oysters, half a lobster, crab cocktail, & shrimp cocktail, lobster salad was excellent, lobster tail a tad firm. Crab cocktail was highlight.
We had lobster bisque, onion soup, and green asparagus/crab/mint soup. All 3 were excellent.
Lent, so most had fish. Crab cake was very good. Salmon was tasty. The one food mistake was an overcooked delmonico. Mgr offered to redo, but it tasted fine, just overco

Still getting their wings. Food ranged from ok (oysters) to very good ( Mac n cheese) but for the money (very expensive) you can get a better steak. Nonetheless the setting is fabulous and once the green but well intentioned staff gets some experience things should look up. Great location and beautiful interior.

I thought the restaurant was beautiful. Great ambiance! I thought the food was ok; not seasoned so well. It was my husband's birthday and I had called ahead and asked them if they had a special dessert or something they could do. They said they could, however it never happened. They don't seem good with dealing with special occasions.
