Republic ChophouseRepublic Chophouse Business Dining6/5 - I requested a quiet dining area as possible to support a business meeting and was pleased to find a separate dining room to accommodate our party. However, the food and wine (Cakebread excellent) graciously serviced by Abby, that limited business was discussed. Our evening was better served by enjoying each others company and expanding our personal relationships. The crab cakes, scallops and beef carpaccio starters were great and we enjoyed a variety of the steaks and sides. And while we don't often find room for desert, we're glad we ordered a sampling, and I will add, the red velvet cake is a photo opp as well as delicious.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Night OutMy husband and add dinner on Saturday, May11. For Green Bay it's a little pricey but for that special evening it's worth it. Food has been good each time. My husband loves the seasoning choices for the steaks...last time he had blackened, this time he had Peppercorn. Both were excellent he said. I had the lobster tail this time...it was good. Service has been very good both times we were there. We have been lucky to be seated in a booth each time toward the back...less noise. Definitely romantic with the low lighting. It was not as busy as the first and we had a smaller group.
