Just "eh". Everything seemed over-fried and not the gourmet experience you usually expect from tapas style food. Asian spicy shrimp was like Sea-Pack. And the Ahi Tuna was more like a tuna steak, with breaded and deep fried asparagus. Service was inconsistent as well.

Amazing restaurant. Hidden away in the Mason area in the best way! The food and ambiance are spectacular. The service can be a little slow, and doesn't always do a good job of promoting the "sharing" that the menu demands. While it is a beautiful space, you can tell when the staff is hindered by it being slow and starts to check out a little bit. The menu can be great for sharing with groups of 4+, but you have to navigate it on your own. The martini list is among the best that the greater Cincinnati area has to offer. The beer selections are good as well. The wine list could use some work. All in all, Relish is a great restaurant and the food is always worth any of the drawbacks.

Relish is a fun restaurant with intersting menu items. The food is always very fresh, served at the proper temperature and within a reasonable timeframe. The dishes are meant for sharing and the quantities allow for that option. We had the signature salad, the trio of soups and the Asian Cruncy tacos. They were all great. I noticed a couple of changes that were disappointing. One is that there is no longer a small size of the signature salad. The other is the removal of the cream of mushroom soup from the menu. These were two of my favorites as the regular size of the salad is too much if you want it as a side and the soup was fantastic. Please consider bringing these back.

I know it is trendy and tapas portions are supposed to be small, but if you are going to charge that much money for four bites of food, they had better be four really good bites. Both of our dishes that contained rice were undercooked and at best, the rest was mediocre. The red sangria on the other hand... perfection.

We were seated at a cool spot, but overlooked the parking lot - not too romantic. Food was good. Overall menu was not Spanish as i originally thought, though we ended up eating several pinxtos ( that ARE Spanish ) - they were delicious; Esp the tuna, and the beef! The ginger drink was tasty. service was quick but we were able to order bits at a time, which made for a relaxing evening. wouldn't rush to go back but if in the area, it's good and different than a chain!

Out of four of us, we all thought the food was good, but for the price, the portions were way too small. We realize this is a tapas restaurant, but the prices were pretty high, especially the drinks. While we all liked the food and drinks, we would not return, since it's way too pricey.

I've eaten at Relish several times ad I always felt at this restaurant was a neigborhood gem. However, on this visit, I found that the overall quality of the food had slipped signifcantly. Several items were fine, notably the wild mushroom risotto balls. But more were underwhelming/disappointing. The stuffed mushroom caps were the biggest letdown. The mushroom was undercooked and the spinach based stuffing overwhelmed any other flavor. The "relish favorite" flatbread was STUFFED with cream cheese which was too heavy for the tapas concept. After a couple small pieces of he flatbread, we were full of cheese. The service was excellent, but it takes more than that to makea good experience.

The food was decent but not great. Nothing tasted bad but there also wasn't anything where I wanted to order more (The sweet and sour shrimp and the flatbreads were what we liked best). They also missed the mark a bit with the Tapas concept. Several of the menu items came with side items which felt more like an entree than a sharable dish (example: scallops came with potatoes and asparagus). Other dishes didn't come in easily shareable quantities. For example the taco's where 2 for $9. If you want to share with a party of 4+ expect to order several plates of the same item. If you are a large party and plan to do lots of sharing don't be surprised to order 3 plates a person. With drinks you are looking at $40-$50 per person.

The food was very good and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, our very nice waiter was not a very good waiter and we had to wait an unusually long time before he would realize he hadn't brought our wine, or more bread, or the bill......Gave us more time to visit with our friends, but it was pretty inefficient. That being said, we would go back again because the pluses outweighed the minuses.

As my son put it, serving tapas is a great way to charge more for less. Food is good and service is reliably but at the end of the day, Relish is pretty pricey if you want to fill up your stomach. Nice to have in this neck of the woods though which could use a bit more of independent and more sophisticated restaurants.

Overall, the food was full of flavor. The presentation on the plates was beautiful. The only downside is the size of the portion for the cost of the food. It is tapas style and you are supposed to be able to share your meal with someone. My husband and I ordered a lot of food. We are not big people, but we were starving afterwards. Relish should include a free $10 McDonald gift card with every meal.

This place is based on a good idea, but the food does not live up to its description on the menu, nor does it favorably compare to other area restaurants of its genre. For example, the menu touted grilled peaches and plums on a salad selection, and what arrived was fruit straight outofthe can, cold and soggy. The tapas or pintxos' presentation was about as unartistic as I have ever seen, rather overcooked, dry, and unappetizing. Bill for two was almost 100, and we had only A couple of drinks each and very little food. My dining companion spilled her wine accidentally and was charged full price for a refill. Poor policy. This place could be so much better with some attention to culinary aesthetics and adherence to the integrity of the menu.

we went for new years eve. had been before but this time made us question whether we would ever go back. It took 15 minutes after being seated for anyone to come to the table, and the rest of the evening of service went downhill from there. Though everything we ordered was interestying and tasty, the waiter seemed to forget about us...they forgot one of our appetizers , it took almost an hour from the time we ordered to the time our main course arrived, and it was cold when it got there. They were nice about it and paid for our food, but not sure we would chance the same experience.

We enjoy dinner at Relish every couple of months - saving our dining experience for "special occasions". We've never been disappointed. From the "fall-off-the-bone" ribs to the flakey pastry crusts to the perfectly fried-but-not-greasy dishes, everything is great. Nice to have new items on the menu with regularity. Also nice to have Sunday and Monday 1/2 price bottles of wine!

Relish is a unique restaurant. The menu, by itself, sets it apart. The variety of dishes are quite different from other restaurants in the area. The service was just right - server checked in with us without over doing it. The lentil soup was great. The fish tacos were great. The lamb kabobs were cooked just right -- often times I have had lamb and it was over cooked. All in all, Relish is a true top drawer restaurant. Give it a try and it will become a favorite place to dine. Also, extremely clean !!

Food was flavorful (especially the flat bread and shrimp), but portion sizes were relatively small. We were a party of 3 and ordered 5 items to share amongst ourselves and then individually got desserts. In many respects it felt more like a sampling of hors d'oeuvres than full meal. The restaurant location gives it a bit of a strip mall feel from the outside. Once you step inside the atmosphere definitely improves; nice lighting and décor.
