"The food was average, but the service was not up to the standards I would expect from the Phoenician. I can live with the fact that the food was average;it's a "burger" place. However, I always expect good service whether it's a five and cent diner or a high-end resort. Our server was slow, unfriendly and we felt as though we were a bother to her? Irregardless, I always leave a good tip, but will not return."

"Food was really pretty good. Service started out great and slowly went down hill. It didn't appear to be very busy, and it didn't appear to be just out table that was being ignored. Being part of the Phoenician Resort/Golf Club I was expecting better overall service."

"I had tried the kobe beef relish burgers sliders previously and that is what brought me in recently.
Unfortunately there was a large party of 35 sitting behind us, 20 of which were children, making the room very loud and not the romantic experience I wanted to celebrate my boyfriends birthday.
The burger I asked for medium was blackened on the bottom and well done. I still enjoyed my wine, the unusual fried pickles, and the flavors were still all there. The service was wonderful.
I'm not sure if I will return. I could blame it on the large party that took over the restaurant for my less than magical experience and give it another try."

"You have to order their fried pickles for an appetizer. They came out piping HOT and really good. I had the lettuce wedge appetizer which was just the item to start my dinner. I ordered the mushroom burger, my wife had the knife and fork burger and my daughter had the BLT burger. I thought for sure my bun was soaked in the juices from the burger, but behold, it was dry and light. The tater tots was awesome, haven't had them since my kids were little. To finish the meal off, we ordered the S'MORES. What an eye catching sight when they brought out hot charcoal in a square ceramic style pot, flame dancing on the charcoal, marshmallows, graham crackers and Hershey chocolate. We were acting like kids in a candy store making our S'MORES."

"Christmas Eve, 7:30PM. Not a bistro but a golf clubhouse. The 1/2 pound burgers ($$$) were cooked perfectly (medium), but lacked flavor. There are a bunch of different cheeses and toppings. The green chili is good, tender pork but without chile flavor - have it on the side. Prickly pear relish was great! I had to ask for mayo, which was finally delivered in the Best Foods squeeze bottle. The bun was fresh, but not remarkable. Tater tots instead of fries; very good. 3 TVs in the dining room on a college football game; way too loud. They appear to have a large selection of tequila - over 400 according to waiter. Wait service was very slow despite the lack of crowd (Christmas eve?). The gentleman that served our food was VERY nice."
