  • "Eat here frequently and have never had a bad meal. I particularly like the way the servers operate. Unlike most Baltimore restaurants where the servers are trained in a certain way, but have not had the experience of being customers themselves in good restaurants, Regis's servers are sophisticated enough to know what works with certain customers. For example, they would never call mature customers "guys" or try to push starters on customers who would have trouble finishing their main courses. They are there when you need them, but are never intrusive. Only concern with Regi's is the din that occurs when a large party is seated and they begin to shout over each other after a few drinks."

  • "I took a group of girlfriends to Regi's Saturday night and it was an absolute blast. I live in the neighborhood and we often go for brunch but I was so pleasantly surprised with dinner as well. I had a big group of friends up from Annapolis to celebrate my engagement and Regi's completely delivered to accommodate some dietary restrictions we had (we didn't even have to specify they just have options that are available for most diets). We had the calamari, sashimi tuna app, crab dip, tater tots as appetizers and then I ended up getting the tuna appetizer for my dinner as well b/c it was so delicious. Highly recommend Regi's! The best part about the evening, though, was our server. I never caught her name but she was absolutely awesome!"

  • "There are not a lot of places in Baltimore that I can say is consistently good and I always enjoy myself. Regis is one of those places. We live in northern Baltimore County but don't mind driving to federal hill for a great meal, and a friendly staff who make you feel like you're in a private home. Everything is always delicious. I find the atmosphere very relaxing and in the summer you can sit outside in the tent."

  • "I'm telling all my friends, Regi's is a "Must Do"! I treated my husband for Valentines Day. I was hoping for a romantic experience and that's exactly what we got. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The waiters were very personable, attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely scrumptous. The Lamb Chops melted in my mouth. And the Crab Cakes are the best in the Baltimore. We applaud the Chef! The ambience in the restaurant was very romantic and upbeat. Beautiful decor. It was a real treat and a pleasure dining in Federal Hill. I love the history of the community and Regi's American Bistro has the look and feel of the tradition."

  • "I think this could be a fun place to eat when the weather is warmer and you are able to dine outside.as it was on this cold winter night we felt kind of stuffed in there. The food was good, but not memorable. The entrance through the bar was a bit off putting. As a tourist in neighbourhood restaurant we felt out of place until we were taken to the other side which is the cozy dining area."

  • "Regi's is a small but cozy and comfy place, with neighborhood ambience. As a new B-more resident, I was impressed that every table was filled on a Monday night, but locals here do support their neighborhood gems. The bar on the other side of the see-through window was also full and vibrant. There are limited choices for vegetarians, but the Peanut Thai Salad was outstanding. The veggies were extremely fresh and seem to have come out of the garden that day. Hubby had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and he nearly licked the plate. He indicated perfect seasoning, with a unique BBQ flavor. Our group also tried the shrimp bisque, which was delicious, but slightly salty and the cream of crab soup which was thick and hearty. Great experience."

  • "Parents, two adult children and spouses were looking for a special location to begin our night on the town in a limo. Regi's was the greatest. We had requested a round table ahead of time, it was perfect. For apps we had the tater tots, calimari, crab dip, and the ahi tuna. All wonderful. Crab cake dinner, salmon, special was duck-all good. We were from out of town but we could see lots of locals as well that walked there. Our server was the best. We will definately be back soon. it was so comfortable and friendly."

  • "We were glad to be able to reserve for dinner at Regi's on New Year's Eve. Although there was a special 5-course dinner, Regi's still had a select menu of excellent dishes. Good for us who are not big eaters even on holidays. The place was exciting, theme decorated, well staffed and friendly. The service was superior & the food was great. We left feeling festive and continued to the harbor for the fireworks. Thank you Regi's!"

Owners were there greeting people, service was very good for being swamped for a holiday, and the food was delicious. I had the blackened tilapia and my boyfriend had the crab cakes.   • "i hadn't been there for several years but it was one of the few restaurants open on Christmas Day. We had mostly seafood and it was surprisingly good. I had a port schitzel which was only adequate. The service was very attentive, but the noise level was high because the restaurant was very busy."

Our waiter greeted us with "what can I get for you?" When we complained to the owner he also became hostile and practically kicked us out of the restaurant. Food is mediocre, certainly not good enough to compensate for the rude service and management."

  • "Three of us went to Regis for Christmas. Brunch. We started out with delicious Bloody Mary's at the bar. The menu was a special combination of Brunch and dinner. One of us ordered a special wafflle off of the breakfast choices. He loved it. Our friend had a delicious flank steak with acorn squash , green beans and the best stuffing we had ever tasted. I had a crab cake platter with really good mashed potatoes. The service was perfect. The room was full, and everyone seemed to be really happy with their food . When we left, the bar was packed. Everyone seemed very happy to be there. I highly recommend Regis!"

  • "Regi's was one of only a few places in the Baltimore area open on Christmas. Our party of four had to a wait a few minutes for our table to be ready, as the place was packed (a good sign). Although the menu was abbreviated for Christmas, everyone found something they liked. We enjoyed a nice, mid-priced bottle of wine from their small wine list, and the creme brulee dessert was delicious. The portions were generous, and they even made us a salad that was not on the menu at our request. Our waiter was excellent - very upbeat and friendly and helped make our dining experience memorable. Thank you, Regi's, for a nice Christmas meal!"

  • "Regi's was hopping on Christmas! It was one of the few (maybe the only??) places open in Federal Hill, and lots of folks were enjoying the special Christmas brunch menu. I had the crab and spinach omelette - yum! Others at my table had the Denver omelette and the Regi's special -- two eggs, toast and fries. And, of course, mimosas and a Bloody Mary. Merry Christmas!"
