Our waiter was very professional and made sure our dishes fit our tastes. He graciously divided our shared salads and dessert, and even advised how to reheat the remains of the generous portions we took home. Restaurant like most at that time on a Sunday was not too crowded. One large party celebrating a birthday and another table of 3 diners. The wait staff was very accomodating to our large group including the children (8,6,3,2,4 months). They had a kids menu and brought there food right away. The food was OUTSTANDING- both courses. The entree portions were quite large and actually were enough for 2 or more people so we had leftovers. I would definitely return again given the good accomodating service and the outstanding food.3/3/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved this restaurant, a find!I could not ask for more! When I read reviews I worry that they will not meet my foodie expectations, but I must say I was delighted with how carefully the waiter listened to my request and conveyed the message to the excellent chef, to adjust the seasonings to fit my palate. The Branzini fish was the best I have had anywhere- moist and cooked to perfection. The complimentary bruscheta was tasty. The service was on point as was the ricotta cheese cake, again moist, not overly sweet.
The price for this meal was most reasonable and will encourage my husband and I to visit during the week as well. Everything was delicious from the homemade bread to the homemade desserts. I can just tell that everything was fresh and made to order. There isn't many restaurants out there like this one. I couldn't believe we were finally going to what I had always thought was a hole-in-the-wall eatery in my neighborhood. But what a pleasant surprise! From the smiling greeters at the door, to the low-light soft ambiance, to the impeccable table presentations, to the friendly waitstaff (especially Gaetano) who worked discreetly and with a smile, we were treated like royalty. And the food hadn't been brought out yet! When it was, however, I wondered how much better it could get. The bacon-wrapped scallops were tasty, all of our entrees were simply delicious and the suggested wines made this a truly delightful dining experience!1/18/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second time atThis was our second time at restaurant and, again, were very pleased. Food was tasty, well-prepared and correct temperature. Varied menu with specials written on paper within menu (hate when you have to remember! ) :) Had excellent tilapia special. Service was attentive yet not overbearing. Very comfortable atmosphere where groups and children would fit in well along with smaller parties. Given its quality at a reasonable price, I was again surprised the restaurant wasn't "jammed".
