  • "We had sushi for an appetizer and it was excellent. Very fresh. We both had Tilapia for lunch. He had it crusted and I had it simple, grilled over a bed of spinach. Both were very good. We walked out very full, since we pigged out on the rolls. I had made the reservation through open table, and mentioned it was our anniversary. The waitress brought us a Chocolate Cupcake to celebrate, very nice touch."

  • "Went to Oakbrook shopping center and being from Indiana tooki a chance at Reel Was very impressed on the food but especially the staff! Maria our server was great. She came around just enough not to bother us but to get things done. My biggest tet peve is waiting for the check which came out promptly but not where I thought I was being rushed out. I'd recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again."

  • "We had a family pre-Easter brunch at Reel Club and it couldn't have been any better. Our server Javier was very courteous and attentive to all of our needs. The food was fantastic not a huge variety but I would always choose quality of quantity. My favorites were the baked French toast, the sushi rolls and the chicken limone. But as a whole everything was great. Lots of very fresh seafood. I will definitely be back for brunch and for dinner."

  • "I was so disappointed..from the minute we arrived. There was NO service at the bar, the bartender did not know how to make a lemon drop martiini. Our waiter tried his best but we couldnt get glasses of Stags leap had to buy a $64 bottle that was served so cold we had to warm it. We had oysters..ok, soup, pretty good but the lobsters were awful and my son had parmesean crusted somthing that was unedible. Terriby disappointed!! I paid $300 for dinner and could have gone to red lobster...dorothy Mittelstaedt"

  • "I'd been wanting to try the different LEYE restaurants, so we finally gave Reel Club a try. I had asked for a quiet, corner table and the hostess more than obliged with a huge booth. Service was great, and we loved the food. My boyfriend is allergic to dairy so he helped figure out what his menu options were and accommodated him very nicely. We both left loving the place until I got home to find out my card had been authorized three times. Not sure what that was about, but I spoke to the manager about it and he handled it very quickly. Took about four days for the authorizations to be removed, but I'm hoping that was just a one-time issue. We're supposed to be back for Easter brunch, and are (so far) looking forward to it."

  • "Our food was excellent, as usual, and the service was just right. Loved the Tapicoa-crusted Whitefish with Brussel Sprouts slaw and the Norwegian Salmon. Lobster roll is our daughter's favorite and the Butterscotch Creme Brulee is deligtful as well."

  • "Good food great service. We had the chopped salad yo start. A nice take on the chopped salad with the addition od the pinenuts and garbanzo beans. For the entrees we had the Tapioca Crusted Whitefish, which was very good and a very large portion, and the Parmesean Crusted Chicken. It was very moist and he sauce and roasted tomatoes added a good flavor. The roles were fantastic. If it wasn't for the fact we don't eat a lot of bread, we could have devoured the whole basket."

  • "It was exactly what my review title states. I was prepared to be wowed by The Reel Club, because of all the reviews I read online. From those reviews I booked my anniversary dinner there, told my husband this was to be the best seafood restaurant near our home. The cheese popovers were GREAT! The crab cake and calamari were good. I had the lobster roll because I always wanted to try one but I think in order to get a great lobster roll I will have to go to New England to get one. My husband had the Reel Club Trio, the salmon was over cooked, but to be fair it is very hard to cook such a small piece of salmon without over cooking it. The bacon wrapped shrimp and steak were good. I had a glass of overpriced Molnar Chardonnay which cost $14.00"

  • "I was a little disappointed this time with our visit; the food was great but the service didn't quite hit the mark. This wasn't my first visit so I have something to compare it to. Our server appeared a little distant. This may simply just be her personality but she felt very comfortable with engaging in a lengthy conversation with the couple at the table next to us so the server wasn't shy at all. Overall our server was okay; our drinks were replenished and we were offered dessert. That's about all the communication we had with our server between the time we ordered until check-out. As mentioned, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant."

  • "Have been to Reel Club several times and am always very pleased with the service and food. This time was no different. My wife ordered the Seared Tuna and I had the Grouper. Excellent! My question /concern is with the reservation. I had booked a reservation through Open Table for 6:45 on Wednesday April 9th. When we arrived (at 6:45 promptly) we were told the only table available was in the Lounge. I can arrive at any time and sit in the Lounge. Remind me why I use Open Table??"

  • "Inexperienced hostess, overly salted appetizers and other items, nice but rushing waitress (forgot our salad order, asked about deserts when full glasses of wine remained, difficulty in explaining wine list, etc) . Honestly, this is maybe the first bad experience I have had at a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant. So I will take it with a grain of salt. Just a little disappointed that we went here above another place we have eaten at for years because of the good food and consistency."

  • "The Pro's: Pretty good food, they honored and seated Open Table reservation holders (us) quickly. Con's: Hostess did not want to provide another choice of tablle locations, despite several others bing available. Very crowded table spacing, being bumped several times by passing customers and servers. Louder than one would expect. Prices are high for relatively small portions. Very, very limited self-parking at dinner time. Many of the nearby parking slots are reserved for "Valet Only", a major gripe for me! Thus the .$4 Valet Parking fee is almost mandatory, otherwise a long walk to alternate parking lot a good distance away, and up a long stairwell or across a busy perimeter road."

  • "The restaurant name was small we ended up driving past it. The seafood was outstanding, but the service was ok. The waiter was a little snotty and questioned my sister in laws ID after ordering her drink. She may have looked younger but the way he asked the question was rude. He also gave the wrong side dish for my dads meal and gave my brother the wrong drink. Overall, I would recommend Reel for a good seafood restaurant but not for steak or sushi. It's nice that they have a variety of food selection but they are known for their seafood."

  • "We had 8 women to dine and celebrate 3 birthday's. The food was great, the waitress, I believe Chris? was so attentive and patient with all of us. Then when making the reservation I said we were celebrating 3 birthdays, at the end of our meal the waitress brought out 3 beautifully decorated cupcakes for the birthdays. They were delicious. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you, Gerry"

  • "A friend suggested we meet her there for dinner. If I only knew then what I know now. Two of the three entrees were very disappointing. The fish special was over salted; the crab legs were dry. The salmon entree was very good. The noise level goes beyond "energetic". We couldn't hear each other talk over the din. It made our conversation very difficult at best. The server was very good. The parking situation was a disaster. Signage for the restaurant is poor as we could see "Wildfire" but not "Reel Club". Oh, one last thing. We believe their valet service did $1,500 of damage to our car. Of course, they denied it. So if you find yourself in an unfortunate situation of having to eat at this restaurant don't use the valet.!"

  • "Reel Club has to be the best brunch around ... especially if you like seafood! They never disappoint. Service is always stellar as I have yet to have a server that didn't have a wonderful personality. The Bloody Mary bar is spot on ... everything you'd want to make a rockstar bloody! Infused vodka's, great mix w/ just the right amount of horseradish and the condiments ... oh, the condiments! Will be going back this Sunday with another group of friends and can't wait! The only thing I miss on the brunch is the brussel sprout shrimp salad Chef Chris used to make. It was one of my favorite things ever! Keep up the good work!"

  • "The food is good but the service is rushed. We felt like we were just another reservation at a busy restaurant. The hostess was slightly rude. Our table wasn't ready so we were told to go have a seat in the bar where there were no seats available and we were continually having to move and shift to accommodate all of the servers making their way through the bar. We were then offered a table in the bar which was not what we had in mind. By the time we got to a table our server seemed to rush us through the ordering process. We had planned to have a nice leisurely dinner but we were in and out in about an hour. Food was good but in the future we will go somewhere where our patronage is appreciated."

  • "I loved the fresh, up-to-date feel of this restaurant. It was an upbeat, lively experience. The menu was full interesting and exciting selections. I love fish and will definitely return to try more of the menu selections. The parmesan popovers were an excellent starter. The Signature Seafood Cob Salad was excellent. The salad was so huge that there was enough to take home and have for three more meals. The grilled grouper was also a gem. The bacon jam was outstanding and truly brought out the flavor of the grouper. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Outstanding restaurant experience."

  • "This was our first time at the restaurant and everything was perfect. Portion sizes were great, food was super tasty, and menu was full of many tempting items. We had the seafood cobb salad - excellent, the blackened grouper which was not on the menu but they happily made for us, mussels, shrimp, gumbo, and crabcakes. Everything was great! If it was expensive I'd be back there this week."
