Diner Reviews
  • "The service and personal were excellent. The menu was limited but this is off season. The food was good and expensive. The restaurant is noisy."

  • "We picked this restaurant, as we were celebrating our son's 25th birthday, and wanted something unique. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. The appetizer assortment was a bit bland. But the salads (beet and cabbage) and the 4 entrees were all great--filet, scallops, mousaka, and halibut. However, the offerings were way over-priced. Enjoyable experience, but not quite worth the bill."

  • "Reefs has a great atmosphere and wonderful service. The food was wonderful however the menu is limited. Once you settle into that mindset, enjoy what they have. You can tell each course was carefully made."

  • "We love coming here. Food is consistently awesome. We always order family style and share everything. Great service and reasonable prices (which is rare in Park City!)."

  • "This restaurant has delicious food. Being veggie, I found lots of tasty options."

  • "the hummus was delicious as was the beet salad. We had the filet for main course. The ginger sauce was really tasty. it was served with a couscous side that was not so good. All in all, we will definitely return."

  • "We love middle eastern food and have never been disappointed at Reef's. Extra serrano hot sauce is a must!"

  • "The first time we visited Reef the food was excellent so we went there again with some out of town guests. This time around we were a bit disappointed with the food. Our guests ordered the Mussels, but had to send them back - too sandy. We complained and they didn't charge us."

  • "Quiet with attentive service. Very good Israeli wines. But expensive."

  • "Great find tucked in a quiet area of Main Street. My husband and I split the sampler and the Roasted Beet salad. Both delicious!. I had the very generous lamb chops, cooked and seasoned to perfection while he enjoyed the scallops (used his pita bread to savor every drop of the sauce). My satisfying choice of beverage was the house merlot while my "self-proclaimed beer snob" husband enjoyed the Brainless Belgian-style golden ale. There is no "child's menu" which caused one young family to exit after being seated. Yet, another family with similar aged pre-teens made the wise decision to stay and their entire family was continuing to enjoy their meal as we left. One can never start too young when cultivating healthy, inquisitive appetites."

  • "I had not eaten at Reef's Kitchen for a few years. Wow! What a pleasant surprise. The menu varies on a regular basis according to the owners, so do not be surprised by the limited menu. 2 of us had the halibut, OMG - perfect. My wife had the scallops, expertly prepared and the sauce was wonderful, we got a few pieces of extra pita to enjoy it further. Another in our party got the eggplant dinner which she said was great. The sampler appetizer was super tasty. Cabbage salad and the beet salad were nice starters."

  • "The food was very good, the service a bit spotty and the prices way over the top. $38 entrees, $18 appetizers? Reef's serves relatively simple food from pretty simple ingredients in an off Main St location. There is no justification for some of the highest prices in town."

  • "Hadn't eaten at Reef's in several years. Had a great meal and excellent service. We will be back!"

  • "Fabulous food. Owner on premises and makes sure you have anything you need."

  • "We took friends to dinner and we all enjoyed their food. Everyone raved about the delicious dishes. The wonderful wines are pricey and unusual for these parts in Utah. One of my favorite places on Main St."

  • "mussels excellent and plentiful; salmon small in size, good sauce. no sides; Halibut (2 orders) dry, seamed overbaked, minimal mac crust, not so tasty, no sides; famous garlic fries unavailable; prices too high for portions."

  • "Went skiing in Park City this past week and decided to try Reefs , wow not at all what I expected- funky interior with great art! Food was awesome, I had the roasted beet salad with feta and the halibut! Too stuffed for desert but it all sounded wonderfu"

  • "This place is absolutely outstanding. It is not the most reasonable place in Park City, but it is great for a special night out with very ethnic Israeli food."
    Dined on 3/2/2014
  • "The food was delicious. We tried the lamb which was tender and tasty, the halibut was cooked perfectly and very moist, and the salmon was great with a delicious sauce. The wine list was very interesting, and with the help of the owner we tried a fabulous red from Israel."

  • "Mediterranean food with a flair. Our table had salmon, lamb chops, app sampler (hummus, tahini, felafel, baba). All excellent. A tad pricey (but it is in Park City after all). Small, interesting menu. Not terribly busy - hope they can remain in business. Seems to be family run. In the Marriott Summit Watch Plaza, so a bit hard to find and out of the way for a Main Street restaurant."

  • "I have been going for 8 years and every year I go to Park City I must go!!! Pricey and a short menu but well worth it."

  • "A lovely find. For non-locals, this restaurant is tucked away on a walking mall just OFF of Main Street. Don't expect to see it from the street. Parking is easy, either on street or in an immediately adjacent parking garage. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, and out filet Mignon (sourced from a local company, Niman Ranch) was simply superb."

  • "The food is fantastic. The restaurant is small (make a reservation!) and loud but fun, funky and different. A great experience."

  • "Small, simple restauarant - very casual, even rustic. Limited menu, but what they have is excellent. Lamb chops and Moroccan style salmon were outstanding. Service was very hurried. They put the entrees down as they were picking up the appetizers. We were in and out in an hour."

  • "Love the twist of sophistication they put on Mediterranean fare. Beautiful spices and perfectly cooked salmon & lamb. Their Hummus is creamy, roasted beet salad memorable and the Halvah cookies finished us off with big smiles. This was our 2nd time at Reef and even better than the first."

  • "Had the sampler and roasted beet salad as appetizers. Beet salad was great. Entrees macadamia crusted dorado, lamb chops and mussels. Dorado and lamb were excellent. Mussels were unremarkable. Overall, very good experience."

  • "I visit Reef's every time I am in Park City. The food is consistently top notch, the wine list excellent and the atmosphere is vibrant. Don't miss the coconut mussels! Great for groups so you can share."

  • "not you average vibe for a middle eastern menu. israeli owned, its got a great vibe, great music- young people- they do all the usual well and the entree's are very good- the scallops were in a sauce the table was sopping up, the lamb chops were excellent as well as the filet mignon-quality meats. Excessively expensive though for the menu"
    Dined on 1/24/2014
  • "All entrees were high 30-40s and did not come with any sides. It was pretty good but expected much more for this price point. Skip it if you don't want to pay $75 + drinks."

  • "We went to Reef's during Sundance so they may have been chartging a premium. The menu is a bit limited but the food was very good. We thought it was on the expensive side, even for Park City, but would probably try them again because the quality was definitely there. Wine list limited and a bit on the high side. Service is okay and there is not much atmosphere."

  • "$21 for "shared appetizer" mezza plate. 4 small falafel, small heap of hummus and eggplant dip. $32!! for a baked eggplant with red sauce."

  • "great place run by very friendly staff and owners... hummus was outstanding to start. the waiter was very friendly and helpful. the owner came by a couple times to chat with us. my girlfriend had 3 glasses of the Cardamom Tea with dessert and still can't stop talking about it. we'd definitely go back next time we are in Park City!"

  • "We went to Reef's on January 19th during Sundance. We could not have had a better experience. The food was delicious, the service awesome and great ambiance. The owners were gracious and warm and made it a point to stop by everyone's table. The restaurant was very busy since it was Sundance but they handled it very well. Our food was a little late to the table and the owners were right on top of it and comped us dessert. The hummus and babaganoush were excellent. We had lamb, fish and moussaka which were all incredible. I highly recommend Reef's!"
