Diner Reviews
  • "Redstone never fails when you want a great night out. Food is always good, portions are just right and they have some very interesting wines on the list. Very accommodating to the kids too. We will be back."

  • "I have been to Red Stone and each time I go I like it even more. The food is fantastic. Something for everyone's taste. Great place for a group of friends or a great date place. Service is impeccable. Managers always rounding to make sure diners are having a pleasant experience. A little pricey, but I don't mind paying the money for a great restaurant like Redstone."

  • "I usually go to the Marlton location where brunch includes a complimentary mimosa and complimentary breakfast bread, however the Plymouth Meeting location did not offer this (they only have 1/2 priced mimosas during brunch) It was disappointing that it's not consistent with each location."
    Dined on 4/13/2014
  • "The crabcakes were probably the best I ever had. The cheese plate was just ok but the crabcakes and french fries made up for that. Good place to hang out!"

  • "Good to have a bite or two after a hard day at work. Turkey burger usually hits the spot. Buffalo shrimp are popular, with good reason. Prices are high, but alcohol really ramps up your check. Good thing is food quality is consistent, and service is attentive, without being intrusive. I mean, it's not the greatest, but of all of the dining options in/around Plymouth Meeting Mall, it's probably in the top two or three."

  • "I freuently take clients to the Redstone. I usually send them a cute invitation...I have been told that next time just put a picture of a buffalo shrimp on the invite and everyone will come!"

  • "Chain restaurant with very friendly staff. Recommend using open table to avoid long waits"

  • "I have been to this restaurant many times, both for lunch & dinner. The food is usually quite good & service is usually excellent. However, this is the second time I have been disappointed. The first was dinner with a friend. We were rushed and made to feel quite uncomfortable lingering for even a few moments after dinner to talk (on a weekday evening with no crowd). This time, the food was very disappointing. I ordered something I have had at least 5 times before, and it was far below it's usual quality. The waitress came to ask "how is everything?" less than a minute after a runner brought it out, and before any of us had had time to take even one bite. After that, she never came back to check on us until she brought the check."

  • "Went for Brunch and the food was really good and the service was decent. The only thing I would change is the noise level of the music. The music seem to get louder with the more people entering the place. Louder music would cause the people to talk louder to hear one another which made the noise level go up in a other wise nice atmosphere."

  • "Our reservation was handled perfectly, for time and seating choice. We were cheerfully greeted and made to feel right at home. Our server, Merri, was very congenial, efficient and had command of the menu as she had answers for all of our questions. We were on our way to the theater and Merri kept our courses on time and we had a terrific dinner. The noise level from the bar is high. Our booth for two was situated away from the bar area, exactly as requested and provided an intimate setting. The menu is varied and strong with enough choices to please every palate. the presentation of our entrees was excellent. Management stopped by to ensure that we were enjoying the experience - a nice touch in today's busy world. We'll be back."

  • "Dining at Redstone is always a treat, the food is always delicious, especially they're steaks, but thats not the only good stuff. There corn bread which comes by the wedge or by the loaf is always stuff definitly taste like they make it there. It comes out warm and buttery. Everything else since then has been to perfection, the fondu is perfect for a date or for share between friends The jerk chicken in the fondue plate could be its own dish its so good. The cheese reminds me of vodka sauce and everything pairs well with it. Everyone says their wings are amazing and they are. My favorite though is the prime dip sandwich is just so delicious, I have to get it everytime I eat there, its just so favorful with the dip and the bread is good"

  • "Redstone is one of my favorite restaurants but this was the first time I dined for lunch. A group of four went to celebrate a birthday….and as expected the food was still delicious with excellent service. It was a good time and will have to make an excuse to get back there for lunch soon. Make reservations because they were packed for good reason."

  • "The food was good but my salad was much more pricey than others that I have had recently. The noise level was off the charts. I had to literally shout to the person across from me. This was a Saturday night. I will never go back on a Saturday night. I might go back for lunch but only if I can't find somewhere else that works that is more reasonably priced."

  • "Our part of 6 had a great experience last Saturday night. The parking is challenging but it is what it is. Our table was ready at our reserved time, our wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was awesome all around. Calamari was the best we've had and the cheese plate is good too. Best meal at the table was tied - crab cakes and ribs, although my Grouper was excellent too. Apple crisp was dessert and it fed 6 of us! This place is always packed, for a reason. The outside area looks great but it was a little chilly still to venture out."

  • "All around average. Average food. Average service. Certainly felt like a chain. Average It's too bad b/c we (company) entertain @ lunch a lot and I'd like someplace that isn't average."

  • "Our Table was ready right on time. The server had drinks at our table quickly as we waited for our friends to arrive. I had the BBQ'ed Salmon and it was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I would definitely go back to Redstone Grille in the future."

  • "I love this place so I brought my family here to dine for their first time and the hostess blamed me for not mentioning on reservation I had special seating needs for my disabled parents. The table we sat at for 5 was under par with someone in the aisle. 75% of the food was great. They always have a great selection for everyone's tastes. The rotisserie chicken was burnt with sauce on top of it. We asked for another piece, still burnt but my mother didn't want to complain."

  • "This location is especially popular for the after work scene. I have been there on different nights throughout the week and it is always full. The food is great as well as the wine & beer list. I also have always had great service although sometimes it does feel like they rush you to turn tables over."

  • "We come here on a regular basis but this time it was for our anniversary - it's our favorite restaurant in the area. The buffalo shrimp appetizer is the best menu item we've ever had and always draws us back to Redstone. My husband's ribs were excellent and I loved the beef tournedos au poivre that was on special."

  • "Among the sparse restaurant offerings in Plymouth Meeting PA, the small Redstone chain shines. It's quality food combined with a nice décor and friendly staff elevate the establishment above the chains that surround it. Make no mistake. Redstone is a chain, but the place does separate itself from the Houlihans and TGI Fridays of the world. The pricing is aimed at a higher level income crowd which Redstone attracts. Since their primary focus is the grill, chicken, shrimp and ribs are your best bet. Found the chicken soup surprisingly unmemorable for a place that makes so much chicken. Best appetizer: The grilled giant shrimp (meal by themselves) Best dish: Chicken and Rib combo Best dessert: Banana cream pie (excellent)"

  • "Met my cousin for a Saturday lunch at Redstone last week. Besides being told that I did not have a reservation made through OpenTable, the lunch went smoothly. I ordered the Rotisserie Chicken Salad - my go-to- and it was delicious and refreshing, as usual. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portion size was appropriate. My cousin had the turkey burger, which she said was also delicious. We tried the skillet of cornbread for an appetizer (and then it became dessert!) - the maple butter really puts it over the top. Our server was very talkative, but in a fun way, and we had a great time. I've been to Redstone in the past, and I will continue to visit."

  • "All 3 of my experiences at Redstone Grill have been positive. The food is great. I recommend a reservation if you have a group. It can get very crowded."

  • "The BBQ ribs were tender and moist. I asked for a little extra sauce on the side but it was not necessary. Was a little disappointed in the coleslaw. Almost too crunchy. Each time I have been here, the staff goes out of their way to please. I will definitely be back!"

  • "Went to Redstone to celebrate wedding anniversary. Cornbread and Buffalo shrimp are a must. Large dinner portions and the waitress was nice and friendly. I would definitely return. I would recommend making a reservation vbecause we went on a Wednesday and it was packed."

  • "I have been to Redstone's several times for business and it is always solid. I had a party of four. The menu has a nice variety of items. We had two appetizers, calamari and buffalo shrimp. Both were brought to the table quickly, were prepared well and tasted delicious. I had the pecan crusted walleye. It was excellent but for the pin bones if had in the fish. Kind of annoying to take several bites of food with bones in them. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. The place gets packed so you have to make reservations. I will be back."
