  • " we started at the bar with pineapple martinis there house specialty, while we waited for friends to show. Great service at the bar reasonably priced drinks. When our guest arrived we moved to the table we were actually given a choice bar or restaurant area to sit. We chose the bar booth very big and comfy. Appitizers were incredible the buffalo shrimp and fondue were lights out. For dinner we had the halibut it was also delicious . Great place a little pricey up scale clientele. "

  • "Redstone is one of my favorite restaurants! The staff is open and inviting, attentive when necessary and they work to ensure we have a pleasurable experience. The food is always well prepared and filled with flavor, the drinks are great as well. All in all, this is a great place for just the two of you, meet friends, and groups as well."

  • "I called and spoke with a hostess for a 6:30pm reservation and was told she had nothing available until 8:30. "You can come in and wait". Coincidentally my wife was on line and was able to get a reservation at 6:45 on open table. Service was nice, friendly and very accommodating, however , I have to type that the food was mediocre. The walleye portion was small, and the blackened processes dried out the fish. I was told tricolored cauliflower was the veg and broccoli arrived. I also had to pay $2 extra to sub out asparagus instead of rice. $170 later and I left with a sub par experience. We will opt for jalexanders next time "

  • "It was my wife's birthday and I made mention of it in my open table reservation. They surprised her (and me) with a sparkling candle on her dessert. Great experience and food!"

  • "We had an intimate birthday celebration on a Monday evening .The very generous iceberg lettuce wedge with blue cheese was fabulous. We ordered Parmesan encrusted fish, a chicken special and wood fired salmon. The moderately priced wines were excellent and the free form key lime pie was unique and delicious. One entrée was better than the other so we did a lot of sharing. The sides that came with the entrees were very flavor-filled and complemented the entrees. Our server was well informed, helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere was warm and classy although if you are over "a certain age" the soft lighting might make it a bit of a challenge reading the menu. Can't wait to return in the warm weather to dine on the patio."

  • "The cream of mushroom soup was to die for. I'll be back for that. I also had the crab cake sandwich. We shared the peanut butter and chocolate pie which was heavenly. Great food and service. I'll return."

  • "Amazing food. Courteous, knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly staff. I went during the quiet time between lunch and dinner, and had a great time."

  • "The baby back ribs were to die for. The bone just popped out perfectly clean. The primer in was cooked exactly how I asked, but was a little tough. The mashed potatoes...I don't even like potatoes and they were amazing. Definitely a great option for those who love food."

  • "Went there recently for a retirement party, our server Chris was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with our group. Most everything on the menu looked appealing, however I went with the Barbecue Basted Grilled Meatloaf. Good sized plate with a spot on cut of meatloaf, perfectly grilled broccoli, homemade mashed potatoes topped with onion straws. Definitely will be going back in the summer time to check out the gorgeous outdoor patio they have. The only complaint my group had, was that the lighting was a little too dark for their taste. Overall, we had a great outing here!"

  • "Met up at this restaurant for dinner and dessert. I decent menu. Love the drink menu. Dessert was amazing and large enough to share. I chose the lemon pepper halibut. This is not the first time I have been to the restaurant. Every dish I have tried here satisfied my palette. Can't say that this time around. My halibut was overcooked. Since we were on a time crunch I didn't have time to wait for another order to be prepared. The service has always been exceptional and this was the first time my food wasn't up to par. My companions had no issues with theirs. Please keep this in mind when reading this review."

  • "I had the short rib with potato ratatouille. The potatoes didn't really have very much flavor. The short rib was great! My husband had the baby back ribs with french fries. I think for that money the fries should have been fresh cut, they were good, but tasted like good frozen fries. We could not recommend the Apple Pie Egg Rolls enough! WONDERFUL! Be warned however, it is a dessert for two people. We were seated near the open kitchen and because of the exhaust fans the noise level was pretty bad."

  • "Normally, Redstone is one of my favorite restaurants. However, this time was a bit of a disappointment. First of all we were seated in the back of the restaurant, where my seat position looked right at the kitchen and all the equipment, not really a good ambience scenery. We ordered the Autumn Pork Chop special. Our server informed us that they are cooked Medium and asked if this was alright with us. We said sure. The meals came and the pork chops were very, very dry, hence overcooked. And they were quite pricey - $32.00 each dinner. We split one dessert, had no cocktails, one ice tea... our bill was over $80 bucks for that...We will try it again because my past experiences have been good-just not ordering the pork chops."

  • "I have been coming to the restaurant for years and many know this to be my favorite however, after attending for my birthday on March 22, with a party of 8, the waitress was rude and not friendly. The manager was standoffish as my sister in law did not like her steak she old the waitress the waitress advised she would get her another type as requested. The manager basically advised my sister in law he did not want to waste the steak she felt intimidated and end up keeping the steak and paying but throwing it away. I am not sure what happened with this establishment but I am not fond of attending again or recommending."

  • "We've been to the restaurant twice and both times we found it to be rather dark. The first time we were in a booth and only some of our group had enough light to read the menu. On our second time, it was a little better, but still somewhat on the dark side. Food was great! Good server."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "I didn't like the fact they only had booths. It is tough for 5 people to have a conversation in a booth."

  • "We took a friend out for her birthday and we were very happy we chose Redstone. 2 of us had the filet and she had the prime rib. All 3 of us were very please with our choices. They were cooked to perfection and very tender. The desserts were great and more than enough to share. The restaurant is a very lively scene so not made for a quiet dinner. We will go back again."

  • "Thanks Redstone for consistently providing a superb dining experience. The food and service were both excellent. I love the noise and atmosphere that Redstone has to offer and it is a very vibrant and fun place to eat. Definitely not the cheapest place on the block, but worth a trip for a special occasion. Ensure you have the flatbread!"

  • "I have been to this restaurant previously and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. This particular visit I actually made a reservation for my parents 30th wedding anniversary. The lighting is dim and romantic. I knew they would enjoy the food and the atmosphere. When speaking with my parents after their dinner they said they ABSOLUTELY loved it! Food was great! The service was even better! My parents were so happy when the server came back with a sparkler on their dessert to wish them a happy anniversary. The manager even came by their table to personally say, "Happy Anniversary". Such a little gesture can make a huge impact. Needless to say they had a perfect experience. So, thank you Redstone."

  • "We went for a birthday dinner and the server was wonderful, was very good at explaining the aspects of why their kitchen was different from others. The food was wonderful, we both had Fillets and they were cooked perfectly. The oscar style has a LOT of crab meat on it for a small price. The dessert was wonderful and it came with a sparkling/flaming candle which was awesome. The only complaint I have is for as nice of a place it is, it was extremely noisy. The music was a tad too loud for it to be a relaxing dinner. I'm young though so it didn't bother me too much."

  • "I visited Redstone American Grill with my friends for my 31st birthday, and overall it was very good. The service was outstanding, and the food was very good. The lighting was a little dark, but it would be good for a romantic date. The overall experience was very good and I will definitely return in the summer months to dine on their beautiful patio."

  • "The food was excellent. Everyone had a different dish and felt theirs was the best!! From the special flatbread appetizer to the BBQ Meatloaf and the grilled snapper, everything came out hot, delicious and great flavors. Wine was well-priced. Enjoyed the evening. The lighting was a little dark for my liking (especially in the bathroom) but with all the other positives that can be overlooked."

  • "We were very pleasantly surprised on how much we liked Redstone. They were very very busy and despite getting there slightly late for our reservation, we were seated right away. The staff is extremely prompt, with the manager bringing food to the table along with other wait-staff. Someone was checking in to make sure we wanted for nothing - just enough attention but never too much. The atmosphere was fantastic - very comfortable and charming, lighting was just right. The food was great!!! The cornbread is out of this world. Everything was top-notch from start to finish. We will DEFINITELY be returning!"

  • "Took my wife to Redstone for her birthday. Both the server and receptionist wished my wife a happy birthday. We ordered dessert and it came with a sparkling firework. No obnoxious singing. The buffalo shrimp appetizer is fantastic!! You must try it. We both had seafood which was very good, although the salmon was a tad bit overcooked. There is a large bar in the center of the restaurant that gets packed, but the dining areas are shielded well from the busy bar area. Romantic lighting and professional, friendly servers. Reservations are highly recommended for Fridays or weekends. We will definitely return."

  • "I decided to take my wife there for lunch on her birthday. I always use opentable to make reservations especially for special occasions as I like to give the restaurant the information upfront. The restaurant is well appointed and has a cozy atmosphere, when we arrived we were seated quickly in the bar area, our waiter was attentive and well informed. We started with 2 drinks and their jerk chicken appetizer, that was a very substantial appetizer for sure and great flavors. My wife ordered the special a buffalo shrimp chicken sandwich and I had the Prime dip sandwich. Bothe were flavorful the prime dip seems a bit small. The biggest surprise was the bill. 1 appetizer, 2 sandwiches and 3 cocktails = 80.00. Overall opinion, a bit overpriced."

  • "IDEAL except maybe for the seating. The food and drinks (especially the pineapple infused vodka martini) were great. Really like our waiter (had good timing -- attentive but not too much so ... very professional). Place was PACKED but I had made my reservation on OpenTable and it was ready at the time we reserved. Really enjoyed everything except that sometimes a booth is not ideal for 6 people. The key lime pie very yummy as was the margherita pizza as an appetizer. Everyone loved their various entries. All happy diners in our group."
