He then said he would talk to a manager and see what he could do. We didn't have enough people for the private dining room (you need 12), which would have made our experience that much better. The private dining opens to an outdoor seating area with a fireplace... gorgeous! The rest of the restaurant, including the open dining is also very nice. There is an indoor and outdoor bar which gives the resraurant a resort feel to it. The food was not bad. I had a steak which was okay, and my asparagus had a flavor that I didn't care for (usually my favorite veg). We made a reservation for our group at 8pm and didn't have to wait long at the bar for our table. We all ordered cocktails and we shared several appetizers, a salad, and a flatbread. Everything was delicious! The fondue is great, the ahi tuna was also a winner. The beet and goat cheese salad is something I will have the next time I go, so fresh and delicious. We were seated right away, the atmosphere was a great combination between casual yet perfect for a nice night out, and the service was excellent. I was set on trying a burger when I arrived and ended up trying a special dish and couldn't have been more happy with trying a dish recommended by the server. The appetizer I ordered was exceptional. Unfortunately, the main course was way below average. They were out of the shredded pork which I thought was a signature dish. I finally decided upon the short rib sandwich and my lunch date ordered the chicken sandwich. Needless to say, both dishes were horrible. The rib sandwich was not a good cut of meat. The sandwich was pretty much just fat. The chicken sandwich was bland and overcooked. There was none provided at any time.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMRedstone -- Simply ReliableWe headed to Redstone for dinner, and I'm usually reluctant to go there because in the past I've always had problems getting seated even close to the requested time. This time, however, the restaurant was a bit slow so we were seated promptly. Not much to say about the food, it was good as always and the grilled and rotisserie items were great.
My one issue this time was with service. It started out strong but then the food orders came out a bit wrong (we didn't make special requests) and then follow up service seemed spotty. But everyone can have an off day or service, so it won't affect my views except to say it was below their usual standards.

Everyone said they had a wonderful time and would be back to Redstone. Having been here several times myself, I was pleased with the consistency of my experiences again. The bartender on Saturday night was spot on with suggestions, conversation and kindness. Our server Denise handled our group very well. Meals were fine. I am not seven sure what eveyone ordered- but there were no complaints. As usual my GF options were slim however delicious. Now, we were given dessert (some special peanut butter chocolate thing) for free. The food at Redstone, most of it grilled, has been consistently reliable and good. I had the Tortilla Soup which is very good as well as a salad with chicken for lunch. I repeated the soup for dinner with a special pear/chicken dinner salad which was also very good. The chicken is grilled so you don't need to worry about deep fried food. There is an ample wine list as well as draft and bottled beers. Prices are average. Definitely a safe place to try if you are looking for something new.
