  • "My husband and I chose to go to Redstone to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and we had a lovely experience. Our waitress was very attentive and the servers were so quick to bring our food out to us. We had the Buffalo Shrimp for an appetizer which was quite good. For dinner, I had the BBQ Salmon and my husband had the Steak. The portions were just right and very tasty. I look forward to going back."

  • "The food is good but the service is disappointed. Our waiter didn't refill our water. We have asked several times and he has forgotten. We also asked the busboy and he didn't seem to understand what we said. Our waiter finally refill our water after we asked him the fourth time. Also he gave us our check before we finish our dessert and we feel like he wanted us to leave soon."

Portions are very generous while the prices are reasonable Wait staff are very courteous and we really liked that the dirty dishes were cleared from our table promptly, and by any staff that was passing our table. The meatloaf was very flavorful both the barbeque and marsala mushroom. The 1/2 rack of ribs was falling off the bone, it was so tender. Will definitely return."

  • "The interior is beautiful and quiet enough to carry on a conversation. The menu price ranges from moderate priced burgers to $30-$40 entrees. The food is wonderful and not your every day run of the mill fare. The fact that they take reservations makes for a stress free dining experience on a busy weekend night. We asked for a booth and they are able to accommodate the request."

  • "This is my 3rd time and again, the food was delicious. The server was a pro. We kinda dressed up but saw every kind of group, including a family with well-mannered kids, young couples in jeans, a group of businessmen from Boston, retired couples, and middle-aged girlfriends. Everybody seemed happy. Great atmosphere. Not stuffy. I've come for business at lunch or for a nice dinner with my wife and continue to feel like Redstone is "My" restaurant for when I want the best prepared food and top notch service."

  • "Had Beef Medallions and Crab Cakes dinners. Had them split the two so we each had a taste of both. Very accommodating! Beef had very tasty wine mushroom sauce. Finally, we have found a crab cake in the area that is worthy of mention... cheered, really. Excellent! Sides were roasted potatoes and garlic mashed both tasty, not special. Baby broccoli spears were kind of limp. The best surprise is their signature cornbread. Comes out in a castiron skillet, moist and full of corn flavor, just a hint of peppers and Maple Butter. Bravo! Room was bit noisy, parking is sparse. You might have to park and walk across the busy road. Just under $80 plus tip for the two of us with just iced tea for drinks. Lots of less expensive items on the menu. Try it!"

  • "We had to find a restaurant for a late night dinner, and this was the restaurant we chose. It was a very good decision. We had a great meal, a few drinks and full belly's when we left. I was very pleased with our choice for late night dinner and the results that came about. Service was good, a little slow, but it was near the end of the night shift. The dessert menu, if I remember correctly, did not seem very appealing, just the easy basics. I was probably too full for dessert anyway. We have recommended this restaurant since we dined there for our late night dinner."

We had a group of 8 people and our server seemed annoyed that we wanted to have drinks and chat before and after we ate our lunch. Restaurant wasn't very busy, so I'm not sure why she was in such a hurry for us to leave."

  • "We dined at Redstone to celebrate our birthdays on Saturday evening. The food was absolutely fantastic, but the service was quite questionable. We felt very rushed the entire time we were there. The server was very flirtatious with our husband's (even though the wives were picking up the tab) and she kept calling all of us honey which was very bizarre. The way she described the food was even more bizarre - she said the walleye would rock your world and that the ribs were "fantabulous". It just didn't seem very appropriate for the setting of the restaurant. I'd go back again for the food and hope for a better server."

  • "We had a reservation through Open Table. They were all set for us when we arrived. It was nice, by comparison to other restaurant situations, that they hadn't set us in an area where we felt jammed in. They had us in a nice accessible but designated spot near a fireplace. Waitress was highly organized and didn't make a fuss of having to keep track of 5 couples tabs. Meals were all very good. Drinks took quite awhile to arrive. Mixed drinks came out before beers (odd). We stayed almost 2.5 hours and didn't feel pushed out the door. The one odd thing we all agreed upon was the hallway to the bathrooms is the serving counter for the wait staff (serving from kitchen). Kind of odd and also kind of gross."

  • "My mom and dad took my husband and I there for dinner and it was just wonderful! From the very beginning we got outstanding service. Our server knew it all and was fabulous at making us feel welcome. We sat in a booth in the back and it was so private and romantic. I loved it! We had the fondue for an app to start and it was so cute and yummy. All the food came out with wonderful presentation. Delicious!!"

  • "Making a reservation thru the Redstone website is very convenient. I was at work and it was easy to pull up the website and find the link to Reservations. The table was ready when I arrived at Redstone. I had also made a special request to be seated in a booth -- and that was also done for me. I do like the atmosphere at Redstone. My familiy is a frequent visitor. We both ordered the salmon special. And that was very good -- wonderful flavor and combination of foods. Thanks."

We then asked about a booth near the bar (open the entire time) and were told it was for a reservation...wait, we had a reservation and had been waiting. Chicken and ribs for dinner, and we both enjoyed my chicken, we both found the ribs to be "okay". WE passed on dessert. Our server was cheerful and friendly. We order the gluten free lettuce wraps to start, delicious - but not really a "wrap" which we both would have appreciated."

  • "Food was good, but nothing I would boast about to my friends and family. My girlfriend had the prime rib and I had the Rotisserie chicken. The prime rib wasn't worth the $30 price point. It had a fair amount of fat, which can be expected, but was bland. Should you have to salt and pepper a peice of meet at that price?? The chicken was moist but bland. A sauce covered the chicken that had OK flavor but just caused the skin to get soggy. I ordered it because I could see several chickens cooking over an open fire at the back of the bar! Pretty awesome! I prefer a chicken that is moist but has that flavor and crisp of being cooked over an open fire, which was simply lacking."

  • "Evening started with being carded. Please train your employees to know the difference between 21 and 63. It was cute when I was 40 but it is an inconvenience at 63. Next the drinks. When paying a premium price for a drink, I would expect to at least be able to tell that there is some liquor in the drink. Several at our table tasted the drink and were not sure if there was any liquor in it at all. Your solution, pour a long pour and charge extra. Very disappointing. The food. I had the Short Ribs. While the taste was good, there just was not much there to taste. The portion size was tiny. I hate to spend a couple of hundred dollars on dinner and then have to stop on the way home for a hamburger... The Banana Cream Pie was outstanding."

  • "We have eaten at Redstone several times over the years. We have always had a wonderful experience with both the staff and the food. That being said, we usually go to the Minnetonka location. Tonight, we were at the Maple Grove location. We were seated near a PSO station. The entire time we were eating we had to endure listening to the staff talk about their personal lives. I also believe one of the managers was a part of this irritating unprofessional behavior. I was very surprised this occured at Redstone and it definitely ruined our dining experience."

  • "This is our 5th time to your restaurant in as many months and we have always had a great experience. We get the rib platter and share it and have plenty of food between my husband and I and have had awesome servers!!!! Unfortunately, our last experience was not of the same caliber at all. We would often have to "find" our waitress to get service. Finally, when we were ready to leave, it took a LONG time to get our bill. We discovered out server was in the back talking to a manager, or so we were told. I sat out in the car for well over 10 minutues waiting for my husband to come out and then learned why it took so long. It was rather diappointing . . ."
