Too dark to read the menu. My filet was overcooked and had a hard time with it. My husband loved his short rib. The service was super great. The noise level was high and lots of dropped items in the kitchen area where we were seated by. Probably won't go back again.

Personally, I did not find the food that good--I had the grilled fish, mahi, mahi and it was fishy. It was acceptable and the presentation was nice. We had a great waiter--he made the lunch fun. The restaurant - I could take it or leave it, ho-hum.

The short ribs were dry but their flavor was okay. The squash they served with it was a plesant surprise. The ahi tuna appetizer was good. My date had a salad with salmon substituted for the steak. She asked for them to thoroughly the salmon and they did. (I thought it was done to death, but she liked it.) I'd cal this dinner a C+ to maybe a B- for the Ahi tuna. Maybe I'm spoiled because I cook for myself and I like my cooking a lot better than this. I think you ought to get a much better meal for the money.

I've been here a handful of times, always just for drinks or the bar so thought I would try the food. I am a big pasta buff and was totally disappointed. I never get heartburn but this pasta was so incredibly acidic with the sauce and amount of garlic I could only eat 1/4 of it. I was up all night with killer heartburn. The waitress was OK, not great, but ok. Sitting at a table by the door going outside was freezing though and considering I had made reservations AND there were other tables open this 'worst table in the house" was disappointing. Not a bad experience per-se but I won't rush back.

We continue this today and God willing will keep meeting for ??years to come. We celebrated our special evening at Redstone and it was a very good choice. The service was great and so was the food.

Went to Redstone for my wife's birthday. From the moment we checked in, everything was perfect. Our server couldn't have been more professional, nor more personable. Having been her several times before, we had high expectations. Those expectations were exceeded in the quality and presentation of the food as well as their remarkable timing of the service. Again, we will keep coming back.

I hadn't been to Redstone for dinner for a few years, and now I remember why. I cannot tell if the place is trying to pass itself off as a romantic getaway with all the very dark lighting, or a swingin' hot spot for Cougars and their boy toys. The restaurant's ambience is confusing. I could not hear my dinner guests speaking over all the noise in the place. And, I could barely read the menu, due to the dim lighting. Thank goodness the food was decent. Oh, and I will not even mention the fact that one of the hostesses was very rude to me over the phone when confirming my reservations. Oh, guess I did mention it.

I reserved a table for 12 on a Sunday evening. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The variety of menu items was nice as we had ages from 5 to 92. I had the prime rib with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. The portions were large so I had the leftovers boxed up for the next day's lunch. The staff took a group photo for us as we were leaving. I highly recommend the Redstone American Grill in Eden Prairie.

We love Redstone eat here often. I would highly recommend trying at least once and you'll surely be back. If you like seafood and spicy, the buffalo shrimp is a must try and is the best buffalo shrimp I have ever had anywhere! This place is a gem hidden in Minnetonka behind Ridgedale. Little pricey, but well worth it.

While the food at Redstone is typically very good, the noise level and lighting at this particular location (after having eaten there 8-10x) has done in my wife and I. When you got out on a date, it'd be nice to talk to your spouse but when you have to consistently raise your voice to be heard it doesn't become worth it. When you need the flashlight from your phone to read the menu, it's too dark.\ One other issue we had, is my wife asked for her steak to be blue cheese crusted and when it came out, none. Also, the desserts are good but not worth $9.00. It seems like it is catered more for the Minnesota Vikings (whose facility is a mile away) who can afford this than the average middle class.

Took 14 relatives to brunch here--including 4 kids under the age of 6. Fantastic food, ambiance, and the servers were outstanding on every level. I can't say enough good things about the service. It was friendly, fast and so responsive that I wanted to hug them. Amazing. I would recommend this Redstone to everyone. The only negative was the restaurant was hard to find.

put in open table reservations that this was a special occasion 20 yr anniversary. Host did not acknowledge this and we had to wait for a table even though we had reservations. We mentioned to the waitress we were celebrating 20 yr anniversary too...but unlike Kincaids or Wildfire we were not offered a complimentary desert and that was disappointing since we spent over $ 100.00 for the evening. Not sure I would celebrate a special occasion here again...it was very loud and impersonal.

NOISY!!! WISHED WE HAD GONE TO WILDFIRE, A MUCH QUIETER AND PLEASANT DINING ENVIRONMENT. YES, PARMESAN CRUSTED WALLEYE WAS DELICIOUS BUT I COULD HARDLY HEAR MY DINING PARTNER - IT WAS OUR 31ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. HAD THE CHOCOLATE CAKE FOR DESSERT WHICH WAS MAMMOTH BUT NOT OUTSTANDING IN FLAVOR. DIDNT FINISH IT, ENOUGH FOR 4 PEOPLE, BIGGER IS NOT BETTER. WE'RE ONLY COMING BACK FOR LUNCH IN THE SUMMER ON THE PATIO. TOO MUCH HUB-BUB.

The dining experience was lessened by the high noise level. Service was excellent, the ambiance had a definitely hip, youngish vibe, the food was quite good, but the noise level was so high that we asked to be moved to a quieter section. Event there, the noise was so high that it was hard to carry on a conversation with our table mates. We won't return unless it is well before then dinner crowds hit or for lunch.

I haven't been to Redstone for years, but a friend gave me a gift card and it was my daughter's birthday, so we decided to go there. I ordered the parmessan crusted walleye. It was a little high priced ($28.50), along with most other items we ordered, but sounded good, so thought I would try it. The first few bites had good flavor and then I found a bone, then a second and a third. I quit eating with about 1/2 of the fish remaining. I told the waiter that I found bones and to let the kitchen know. All he said was, "can I get you another one?" No apologies, no offers of any kind to make up for it. Not even a complimentary dessert for the birthday. I don't even know if he told anyone. Never saw a manager. Very disappointed and won't be back.
