  • "Loved the 1/2 price appetizers. Loved the sports bar. Bartender was great (although he forgot to acknowledge my opentable reservation despite two reminders to do so). Absolutely would go back if in town again."

  • "Red's has a Saturday-night prime rib special for less that $19 per person. You can't beat the price, service, location and view. We're glad this restaurant location is within a 30 minutes of our home, but would travel further to dine at Red's. "

  • "The food was ok, good. The scene on the patio was JUST BEAUTIFUL! Golf course is wonderful to look at and enjoy the greenery in arid Az. There were too many servers, not talking with each other and asking the same questions. took a long time to bus the tables. There was a woman smoking on the smoke free patio, and no staff person confronted her and asked her to put out the cigarette. If the wind had been blowing in our direction, and we had been affected, there would have been a scene. Which should never have occurred."

  • "This restaurant is part of the Wigwam Resort, so I anticipated the prices would be a little higher, but given the reputation of the Wigwam, I also anticipated the food would be better quality. The adobo chicken was bland, with only the taste of a barbecue coming through (an actual barbecue, not the sauce). The asparagus was bland and small in diameter, like it wasn't full-grown prior to harvest. The ribs were over-cooked to the point of being mushy, and again without flavor. We topped off our meal with a "Warm Chocolate Brownie" which had hot spots and frozen spots when served, like it was microwaved. We were 1 table of 5 and service was slow - we waited at least five minutes after simple requests (drinks, dessert menu, check)."

  • "Food and service were very good. Only problem was that the website does not have the correct address and we had trouble finding the restaurant. The website has the address of the Wigwam Resort and the restaurant is actually almost two blocks away."

  • "This resort has so much potential!! The west valley is booming! We need quality restaurants. But, once again, Reds at the Wigwam is dated. Reds needs new furniture, carpet badly need to be replaced. The patio at Reds is nice, only because it is located just off the mature green golf course. Wait person was soSo, slow, and tried to be a entertainer. Food was edible, but absolutely very average. "

  • "very nice staff, good food, great service, we had a late lunch so we picked our own table, the staff did everything we asked. 5 star lunch "

  • "Ordered one of only three Sav. Blanc wines. Thirty minutes later our waiter Zach P. told me they were out of it. Ordered another and fifteen minutes later it was delivered. Took 45 minutes to get bread/biscuits I ordered twice. Salad was perfect, ambience was great. Seems wait staff needs to be trained better as they were not terribly busy. Our waiter, Zach P. had to be waved down to finally get bill and pay it. Nice enough lad but simply untrained."

  • "For the second time, the service was very poor. Food was late and one meal was 15 minutes after others were served. They did comp the very late meal."

  • "On the golf course; it's a cart ride (provided) from the lobby. Tuna salad sandwich was good, the pazole not-so-good (flavorless)."

  • "Very nice ambience and great location. The food was also very good and well prepared. Service was very slow at best."

  • "I have been to the Wigwam resort often and when guests from out of state arrived I wanted to show them the West Valley Resort. I booked reservations on line, did not find the address to be consistent with the location of Red.s Bar and Grill and ended up at the main location only to be told the bar was located elsewhere. We were seated in the corner by the golf course, only to have the sprinklers turned on and our guests were sprinkled and we all moved to a new table. The move was a bit more pleasant as the table near us had allowed their children (young) to run and scream and bounce along the area near our table. One of the guests did walk near the table but at no time did the adults ask the children to quiet down or sit in their chairs."

  • "We ate at this restaurant several times for breakfast and had been great! Dinner, was a different story. We did not enjoy anything that we ordered that was memorable or outstanding. I had the crab cake salad and it was spicy and not at all what crab cakes normally taste like. Will not go back again for dinner."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "We had "out of town" guests who wanted to experience some "good corn beef and cabbage". We have experienced brunch and lunch on several golf outings at Red's, but never dinner. All four of us said it was the best corn beef and cabbage we had ever had, and that is saying a lot. Service was excellent, the price was right and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening."

  • "Spaghetti sauce was bland and meatballs were undercooked. The noodle were also overcooked. Fish and chips were good. Needs modern improvements to seating."

  • "The food was quite good and not too pricey. The portion size was very good, not too small or too big. I would eat here again."

  • "Our group of five went specifically to try the Prime Rib. Everyone at our table ordered it and enjoyed it. Because there was a variety of food options, we may very well try something else the next time we visit."

  • "We have enjoyed Sunday Brunch at this establishment many times - we always make a plan to do brunch there when we are in Phoenix. Excellent"
    Dined on 3/2/2014
  • "Excellent eatery with a somewhat limited menu, but less crowded and more intimate than the resort's bigger "Litchfield's" restaurant. The trout and pork chop were considered excellent, but the usual refrain that their cappucino machine was broken is heard all too often here in the West Valley!"

  • "The food and scenery was just beautiful. Service was horrible--had to wait to be seated, to put in drink and food order while everyone else was being taken care of."

  • "Service was slow it was Valentine's evening steak was dry potatoes were burnt vegetables under cooked desert was very good.I would not recommended this to a friend."

  • "Excellent meal at a reasonable price. Great location and view of the golf course. Could have done without the jalapenos in the potatoes. Service was excellent."

  • "My wife and I made reservations for valentines day lunch at Red's. We were seated quickly in the half empty dining room, next to a great view of...a kids golf tournament. Loud, well-heeled brats in ping visors scampering in and out of the dining room and patio. My wife and I were expecting a quiet, romantic dining experience. Having the next few patrons seated immediatly next to us was not conducive to the atmosphere either. The food wasnt horrible, lunch menu only (we asked), and the apetizer came out promptly. The food was fresh and tasty, just not the upscale fare we were expecting. We fully plan to eat again here, with our 3 kids and much lower expectations."

  • "The Wigwam is for special occasions. However our dining experience at Red's was anything but special. We made reservations for four for dinner. We were seated and there was another party of two diners nearby. The problem was that there was also a group of 35 to 40 men standing socializing so near our table making conversation nearly impossible. Why did they seat us there? We did move once but the noise from such a large group prevented a fine dining experience. Additionally, one in our group ordered a glass of wine that was delivered 40 minutes later when her dinner was completed. And when the bill was delivered, without a pen for a signature, it took another 15 minutes to flag down our server for a pen. Food service needs attention."

  • "It was after Christmas and most guests were gone. The restaurant was practically empty, however the food and service were still fantastic. Kudos to the chef; meals were prepared excellently, presented beautifully, served in a timely manner, and of the correct temperature. We will definitely be back!"

  • "We had Sunday brunch at the Wigwam (Red's), and enjoyed it very much. We ate from the buffet (omelette station, eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast, fruit, etc.) but there were also plenty of on-menu choices. We've had dinners at this location before, and the food was great then as well."

  • "A quiet night. Very good meal. Attentive but not intrusive staff. We went to celebrate my father-in-laws birthday (he passed several years ago). Someone overheard a birthday toast and showed up with desert."

  • "We wanted a casual Friday night dinner after arriving for our weekend stay at the Wigwam Resort. This was the casual dining option on the property, so we decided to try it. There were a dinner for a wedding group on the terrace and several groups of golfers having drinks after playing, causing a lot of noise. We asked for a quiet table away from the noise, which was nice for about 5 minutes until the same host seated a family of 8 right next to us. In sum, don't go here if you are looking for a quiet meal. Food was okay, with some nicer entrees than one usually would see at a golf club house. Servers were nice and helpful. I loved the resort, but would not eat here again."

  • "While the food was good and the server attentive, the noise level was terrible. We decided to dine outside as it was a beautiful sunny day, typical for Arizona. This proved to be a mistake because my friend and I could not hear each other for the noise of the staff putting up Christmas lights with a drill. It went on the entire time we were dining which turned what could have been a great first-time dining experience not so great. I don't understand why the management would allow this. We come to enjoy a nice lunch and basically it was ruined. So yes, good food, good service but I was not impressed with this. I am a retired manager from a 4-star restaurant in Vancouver, B.C. Canada and I now reside in Arizona."

  • "We were three couples that never dined at Red's. We ate lunch outdoors and their patio overlooked the golf course. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We will return again soon."

  • "We sat on the Patio, the view and weather was beautiful. There were 5 of us. The food was not hot, the soup was good but barely warm, the onion rings were almost cold so two of us sent them back and decided on french fries. The Cheesesteak meat was NOT shaved, as the menu said, it was sliced and somewhat dry, not a real Cheesesteak sandwich.. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk, couldn't find a waitress so I asked the bartender if they could turn it down. They eventually turn it off, which made all of us happy."

  • "I have dined at Red's Bar and Grill (it used to be known as "The Grill on the Greens") at the Wigwam Resort for years. It is always wonderful. A great place to celebrate a special occasion, or just a lunch together with friends or family. My hubby and I usually take our out-of-town guests there. eat a meal and then walk all around the halls to show them the wonderful pictures of days-gone-by at the resort. Sadly, when the resort was sold several years ago, the new corporation removed many of the old photos that were so very interesting. The food, service and ambiance at Red's are all still wonderful!"

  • "We went to Red's to celebrate 3 birthdays. First time here, very nice patio dining over looking the golf course. The pork chop was excellent, if you order salad plan to share, the serving is large. Everyone one in our party of 4 were pleased with our experience at Red's. Being on a golf course it was nice to have such food and service with a casual feel."
