What a breath of fresh air. Red's surpassed all of our expectations for a wonderful dinning experience with our out-of-town guests. The service was what I will remember most; however, the preparation of the food was exceptional as well.

The main reason I wanted me and my out of town guest to eat there was for the patio experience, but it was raining that day so we ate inside. We did ask our server to bring lemons for the water and she said ok but forgot to bring them; not a big deal. My 3 guest ate from the buffet and all 3 were disappointed; said the food tasted old. I did order from the menu and the pancakes were very good.

A very enjoyable evening (Valentine's Day) was had by four of us. This was our first time to visit Red's since the Wigwam makeover/change of ownership in 2009/10. We all ordered from the specially prepared Valentine's Day menu, only asking for changes of two items as we eat biblical kosher (no shellfish or pork). They were most helpful in suggesting possible replacements. All the food was excellent and beautifully presented. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. We were not pressed to hurry to make room for incoming diners. Overall, just a great experience at Red's. We will be back.

My wife and I went on an overnight get away trip and decided to try Red Allen's for dinner. We made reservations through opentable without any problems. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the hostess who was very nice but seemed to be in the middle of something and told us to wait, which was for about 5 minutes before she returned and apologized and took us to our seat. Once the drinks arrived, we both continued to look at he menu and waited for our waitress to return. We waited, and waited, and waited for 28 minutes. I was checking my watch. Only got an apology and free soda and tea. Ribs were great, chicken w/mushroom risotto was very salty. (Chicken was very good). Overall food was great, but needed Gordon Ramsey to speed it up

We went here to Red's for the first time, as we only live about four miles away from the Wigwam Resort here in Litchfield Park, AZ. We walked around the resort and checked out the main hall and all the beautiful redecorated area. So then we drove over a short distance away on the property to restaurant. We sat down and wasn't long before we met our server.I had the Red Brook Trout plate w/baby squash and vegetables and my wife had the Cobb salad. The presentation of the food was nice and simple, not overblown. My fish was cooked just right, tender and flaky. The veggies and squash were good. My wife's salad was a very good sized portion and very fresh, not wilted or brown at all. We enjoyed it! Go see for yourself!

Excellent food, wonderful service, and lovely quiet and relaxing environment. We had a party of seven including: four adults, two children, and an infant and it was so pleasant. They had a very reasonable children's menu and a variety of food to select from. The prices were more than reasonable for the portion sizes and the ambiance. We dined inside, however, they also offered outside dining overlooking the rose garden and golf course. Outdoor seating is romantic and perfect for couples or large groups. This is one of the favorite meeting spots for our monthly women's book club - outdoor seating is a great place to converse, dine and drink wine. Red's Bar and Grill is a neighborhood gem!

We were looking forward to a special evening as we were celebrating our 33 wedding anniversary. We are lover's of prime rib so when we saw the prime rib special at Red's, we thought that was the perfect place for us. We got there a little early, were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive and what should have been a wonderful experience turned out not to be so. Our salads were mediocre, just greens with a not so special balsamic dressing. The two tomatoes sitting on top should have been tossed in the garbage! The cheese biscuits were yummy :o) Then we were served a huge piece of prime rib over mashed potatoes swimming in au jus. The prime rib was so tough we could hardly chew it - a very sad meal!

Seemed busy for staff, slow to pull empty plates. I ordered a clear soft drink (like 7 up) and wait staff poured water in it when it was only half empty and ruined the drink. I didn't see someone for quite awhile and just gave up on asking for a switch. Once we were served our meal we didn't see anyone for awhile although the place was fairly busy.

The restaurant was not very busy-most people were getting the serve-yourself bbq outside- but the service was so slow. We had to flag down other waiters for more drinks, even water wasn't refilled. And our waitress blamed it on the kitchen being backed up. Can't imagine how the kitchen could have been very busy that night. She also didn't seem to know much about the menu and wouldn't ask anyone else when we had questions. It took an hour for us to get any food. No apologies, comped food, free dessert, etc.

Our group of 8 was very pleased with the overall experience of Easter Brunch. The wait staff were friendly and serviced us well. The choice of food was varied for a brunch offering. However, my husband and I felt the $55.00 price per person + 20% gratuity + tax was a little steep for the amount of food actually eaten.

We have been celebrating special occasions with either breakfast or lunch at The Grill/Red Allen's for many years and hope to continue doing so for many more. It did seem to us that the breakfast menu was not as extensive as in previous times which we found a bit disappointing. Although the food is always outstanding I would rather have a nice standard and fluffy and not so sweet biscuit rather than one that is crusty on both top and bottom. On the plus side, hooray for the coffee mugs in place of the dainty coffee cups.....coffee stays warmer longer in the mugs. Thank you for a very pleasant dining experience for my husbands 76th birthday.
