The food here is always excellent and the portions are very generous. The service is friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Recently I was there with friends for a Friday lunch and had the lobster club sandwich. It was served open face with cheese, bacon, tomato, and a large amount of lobster salad loaded with big chunks of lobster. Outstanding. Steak as good as any steak house in town. Real side dishes, not samples. Baked potatoes fit for a king. Seriously, all the other steak houses are mostly hype. This place walks softly and carries a big stick. Their prime rib has to be the finest in town. We were greeted by the host and seated promptly in a large booth roomy enough for our guests. Our server Randy P. arrived at our table promptly even though it was obvious she was serving several tables. She continued to provide superb service throughout our dining experience. Our cocktails and appetizer (calimari) were delicious. The extensive menu of beef and seafood selections with sides large enough to share is the signature of Red Tracton.
